Skill Drain versus Black Rose versus Forbidden Lance versus Skill Drain

So here's the situation, opponent summons effect veiler while he has two 2 level 3 monsters. He synchs for Black Rose and activates its effect. I chain with Skill Drain, he chains with Forbidden Lance to prevent his monster from being affected by other spells/traps, and I chain with another Skill Drain. So how does this crazy mess resolve itself?

Well,I am not exactly sure,but I will give it a go

Resolving the chain link 4,you pay the cost and skill drain's effect is applied,however since it doesn't negates activation
the chain continues resolving up to chain link 1,and through lance,BRD is unaffected by both skill drains and therefore resolves properly,nuking the field,in which case you had no reason to activate a second skill drain

well im not sure, but i think black rose eff resolves, since to the moment it tries to resolve it is already affected by the lance, and since skill drain is continous and doesnt destroy it or anything, its eff resolves normally

Skill drain link 4 resolves and starts negating. Lance resolves and prevents the monster from being affected by spell or traps (skill 4 won't negate rose eff). first drain resolves (monster is already unaffected by it). Rose eff resolves normally.

To make it clearer: Skill Drain is continuous wich means it won't instantly negate the effect, it WILL negate it if Drain is affecting the monster during it's eff resolution, that's why skill 4 won't negate.

I thought so. I didn't actually activate the second Skill Drain (just a hypothetical), but I had 2 other facedowns :(

doesn't forbbiden lance make a monster unaffected until the end phase? why activating another skill drain?

Well, replacing the 2nd Skill Drain with Forbidden Chalice, would make BRD's effect negated.
