Planetside 2

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of it, and if not I suggest you look it up. It is a MMOFPS game, with 3 teams of 133 per world taking on each other to try to control the most regions. It is far better than CoD or BF3 as you actually have to use teamwork in this and work together to try to overun or defend critical zones and areas. It is currently in beta, I was lucky enough to get in to the Beta and still think it is freaking sweet. It gets released late in November.

Thoughts people?

I hear XCOM: Enemy Unknown is better than that.

They are two completely different genres, XCOM: Enemy unknown is a turnbased strategy game, while Planetside 2 is an MMOFPS (that's Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter for those that dont know)

I prefer Borderlands 2. Even if it isn't a MMOFPS, it's a great RPG Co-Op Style FPS, I've seen a few stuff about Planetside 2, but I'd rather save my money for now.

It's free to play so saving money isn't an issue. I think you guys are missing the point of this topic, it's not to talk about the games we like to play it is asking people what they know or think about Planetside 2 and if they dont they are able to ask or look in to it

And, indeed, how popular it is. On the topic of planetside 2, I have heard nothing nor anything of it. As of the topic, I apologise, and I shall vacate so as to allow the teeming masses to queue up to have their questions answered.

Oh it's Free to Play? I apologize for being quick to judge I only saw Beta gameplay of it, then yeah it's pretty good if it's free to play as long as it doesn't have ''ground breaking'' graphics which will fry my computer as to the hardware work really fast but the cooler is fucked up. I barely manage to get a proper cooler which is like 1/2 of the laptop's size (thanks to dad's retardedness he wasted a lot of money on something that doesn't even help.) so pretty much if it's free to play (and not Pay 2 win) I'm in.
