First topic message reminder :

In this story, whoever chooses to post, takes the role of "the mysterious voice". your job is to keep the protagonist safe, and help her make the right choices. every time a new room is entered, everything in it is described. you may tell her to examine objects, enter other rooms, or use items in her inventory on other objects or enemies. the actions the protagonist takes will be in order of first to last poster. if an action results in death, we will start from the post before the one resulting in death. (if you have any questions, PM me, skype me, or get my attention on chat.)(protagonist's appearance: https://i.imgur.com/kQ0A01w.png)(things are often hidden, the house is quite large and holds many secrets.)

The sound of thunder shook the large house, waking the girl from her deep sleep.

Dark Haired Girl:*gasp*

She looked around the large room, trying to figure out what is going on, seemingly not having any prior knowledge as what the place is, or how she got there. After sitting there for a few more seconds, she found that she had no idea who she is, beginning to understand that her memory is gone. Her thoughts were interrupted by a loud crash from a distant room, startling her. she threw off her covers and got out of bed, and was surprised to see that she is already dressed, but wasn't able to understand why it felt as if something was missing. she felt the top of her head and decided that she must usually wear a hat. Her thoughts were again interrupted by a loud crash, this time seeming to come from a different room. She then looked around the room, trying to find something to possibly help her protect herself from whatever is making that sound, or possibly to help her find her way around the dark house.

She is in a large room with purple painted walls, a oval shaped, pink carpet on the fly wood floor, a rectangular window on the far wall with the curtains drawn back and the blinds up so she can see outside, a queen sized bed behind her, against the right wall, a dresser and a bookshelf against the left wall, both about 3 feet from each other, near those was a yellow painted door, and a red door nearby, about 6 feet from the foot of her bed on a wall with nothing else on it.

Look around for clues or any useful items in the room but inspect the odd object rocking back and forth in the center of the room last and be careful, someone or something had to have moved the object to put it in motion.

Either the creature has no intention to hurt us, or it doesnt know we are here, but we can at least tell it has more than just destructio on its mind. since we didnt walk into anyone, it might be safe to assume one of the doors leads to where it came from. Try to communicate with it.

agreeing she should check the object last, as it makes her uneasy thinking about it, the girl decided this meant to go inspect the objects on top of the book shelf. the girl walked over to the book shelf, and began to reach up, but could not reach the top of the book shelf. she would need something to stand on.

the girl, lastly, walked over to the rocking object and tried to take a closer look.

The Girl: *Gasp*

the girl gasped and jumped back in surprise. the object was living, and only seemed inanimate because it was holding so still while rocking back and forth on a wooden horse! the girl began to shiver and cry uncontrollably. its an anorexic looking, bald, eyeless and earless, naked man, something has been pulled out of his body, and wrapped around the wooden horse that hes rocking back and forth on, and hes rocking the wooden horse while not moving his body at all. the girl backed up to the wall and sat down, holding her knees, while trying to remain completely still.

Inventory: 2x Sticky Note, Leather Belt, Hatchet Handle, Needle, Thread, Flash Light: battery:?

My bad, should have let the girl rest before he saw the naked man
Well, it shouldnt be able to move at all if its tied to the horse, which(probably) means no threat, try asking who he is and whats his business and y'know all the questions

Use the flashlights to read the notes. There must be some clues hidden within them.

The girl wipes the tears from her eyes and stands up, shaking from fright, and makes her way alittle closer to the man on the wooden horse... then speaks:

The Girl:"H-hello... mister..."

the man continued rocking the horse as if nothing was said.

The Girl:"M-mister... e-...e-excuse me..."

again, the man kept rocking his wooden horse, not seeming to hear the girl at all. The girl hesitated for a moment, still shaking from fright, she moved alittle closer to the man and touched his shoulder. the man turned his head towards her and said in a strained whisper:

Eyeless Man: "There is no way out... we will all die here... feeding the beasts from the center of the earth... thats the only reason we are here..."



the man, then, inexplicably turned transformed into blood and splashed onto the floor, soaking the girl's boots, the wooden horse, and the rug.

The Girl:"a-aahh!"

the girl let out a scream, and stumbled backwards, pressing her back against the wall behind her.

"note 1/14: Yggdrasill"

the girl turned the flashlight back off and put the notes and flashlight away, thinking.

The Girl:"how odd... the words make no sense... and all but one letter seems to be crossed out..."

Hmmm check the wooden horse and the area around it. The dude could have dropped something when turning into blood and/or there was something on the floor you didn't notice before because your attention was on the dude. The wooden horse itself could have something on it.

Well, there are 12 other notes, the notes will make sense if we find them all.
There might be notes in this room as well? Or were the notes from this room? I forgot.
Anyway the current objectives are staying alive and find all the notes, try to go check the door where the creature originally came from, if its the only one that came there might be no other in that room.

The girl walked over to the horse, doing her best to avoid the blood puddle as she walked, but right when she was about to touch it, the wooden horse jumped off it's rocker, and galloped out of the room, and seemed to phase right through the yellow door. The girl took a step to go after it, but decided she wasnt fast enough. she looked down at the rockers the horse left behind, but then noticed that the horse kicked the carpet on it's way out. the orange carpet was now folded over on it's self, and a handle could be seen on the floor. the girl walked over to the carpet, and dragged it over to the bed, then got down on her knees and felt along the floor. a trap door, and a rusty bronze key.

The girl walked out of the room through the red door, entering a long hallway with a trail of blood down the center. directly in front of her is a white door, even in the darkness she can see bloody fingerprints on the nob. next to the door, against the wall on either side is a small table with a plant that the girl doesn't recognize on it. several feet from that door is place where the hallway branches off, but its even darker, to see anything the girl would need her flashlight. past where the hallway branches, there's a black door, and next to is only one small table, this one has a rose on it. there are no windows in this hallway. the girl then noticed something else... a light switch, right next to her, on the left side of the red door sh just exited from... but the light switch is making her uneasy... there's something off about it, be she doesn't know what. above her, lining the ceiling, are 3 light bulbs, evenly spaced out.

The Girl: "
the second light bulb... in the middle... it's in a larger socket... probably nothing to worry about..."

Try opening the trap door with the bronze key, if it isnt the key for that, it might be the key for the other room that was locked earlier.
As for the dark hallways, might want to check with the flashlight, just scan them from where they starts.

Deciding not to mess with the hallway just yet, the girl returned to the bedroom with key in hand, and walked over to the trap door, then getting on her knees, she looked for a key slot. there was no key slot, and the trap door actually isn't locked at all.

After briefly checking the trap door, the girl walked back into the hallway and took out her flashlight, walking over to the beginning of the branch hallway. she stopped at the very edge started to flick on her light, but heard a hiss from above her.


The Girl:"h-huh?"

She looked up at the center light bulb of the hallway, startled. the center light bulb of the hallway grew long, pointy legs and jumped out of the socket at her. the girl tried to jump out of the way, but the area was too narrow, and she wasn't fast enough. the bulb spider grabbed onto her face, she tried to swat at it, but it wouldnt let go, crawled over her face to her left eye, and stabbed something long and sharp into it, the girl started screaming, but the spider stabbed the point further into her eye, until she was silenced.

The girl walked back out of the bedroom and into the hallway, turning to the light switch. she pulled out her flashlight and then flicked the light switch. right after flicking the switch, the lights came on, except the center one. from the center one came a loud screeching sound, then the light bulb jumped down to the floor and seemed to grow legs. the spider scurried across the floor towards the girl, but when it came into range, the girl kicked the spider up into the air, then hit it with the flashlight, sending it splattering into the opposite wall.

*branch hallway is now illuminated*

well, now thats its illuminated, checking rest of the hallway should be safe enough?
