It's an Abstract Mosaic style. It's how it's supposed to be.

I made most of the effects out of brushes and some effects, and only used c4d for the main blast effect under his feet. Tell me how it looks.

Only thing I would say is maybe have made the render a little bigger instead of trying to fit his whole self in there(Doesn't mess it up but might look better that way idk :P) Also maybe the text just a bit smaller.
Other than that keep up the good works 8)

You asked in the chatbox for me to tell me what you thought about this tag, so I'm going to critique it. I would suggest making it either vertical or horizontal. It doesn't look particularly like a signature.

Flow 7/10
The flow could use a bit of work, but it's pretty good right now. I would suggest putting more work into the flow by using shapes, and clipping masks, or to follow this tag's theme by using c4d's and fractals. There are lots of those on deviant art.

Effects 6/10
The effects are a bit blurry, and most effects you used don't help achieve proper flow. Often this is because you use guassian blur and set the later to lighter color. This will make the signature glow, but there are better ways to achieve this. You could use a soft brush set to screen or linear dodge, or add the glow using the effects tab. I also noticed that you took a soft eraser to the honeycomb part of the background. this is not a good idea, when you use the soft brush make sure it's for something that will blend into the background, when erasing dark things make sure the image behind it is dark and vice-versa. Another neat thing you can download is topaz, you can achieve some pretty nice effects using their addons too.

That's all I'm going to say for this tag, I believe you have talent in this sort of thing, I would suggest downloading some psd's instead of using tutorials, by using the psd's to make you're own art, you are slowly and efficiently learning how to do it.

cuz he got a C4D render that looks like a splash of water and smudged it. noob.

I didn't smudge any of the C4D's in it, the effect comes from a mix of smudging and ripples, and nour I'll try that out one of these days.
