On the other hand, the major powers outside the Gate such as the United States, China, and Russia were extremely interested in the abundant resources available in the Special Region. They began to exert diplomatic pressure over Japan.
A suddenly appearing portal to an unknown world—to the major powers it may be no more than a mere asset for toppling the international order. But to our protagonists it is an invaluable opportunity to broaden knowledge, friendship, and ultimately their perspective towards the world.

Synopsis:

Ushio's family maintains a Shinto temple in Japan, where ~500 years ago, his samurai ancestor battled that same tiger to a standstill, and eventually trapped him against a rock using a blessed spear called the "Beast Spear", which in addition to its intrinsic formidability as a weapon, can also endow its wielder with the martial ability of the ancestor who originally wielded it. Ushio accidentally unsealed the cave Tora was trapped in.
Initially, Ushio refuses to remove the spear pinning Tora down (as Tora made the strategic blunder of mentioning that the first thing he would do upon being freed would be to devour Ushio), but Tora's unsealed presence summons various monsters who wish to fight him, and by extension Ushio. Ushio is forced to free Tora, who would like to eat Ushio, but dares not since Ushio keeps the spear close by. The series focuses on their relationship, interspersed with battles against mythological foes, and with Tora's attempts to grapple with modern life.

Chaos Dragon subs wherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre Laplace is fun I didn't post it in this topic, but Wakaba*Girl is pretty cute. Wakaba*Girl is preeeeetty cute. juuust saying. 8 minute short. Speaking of 8 minute shorts, Okusama ended with kissing boobs, somehow.

1. Working S3 It's great. Pretty much as expected. Opening song isn't quite as addictive as the previous two but alright, it still has the same feeling.

3. Charlotte It's great. A bit better than I expected. Opening song is quite a bit better than Angel Beat's if you ask me. This might end really shittingly like Angel Beats but I hope not. AB's ending was shit. Shit's too compressed.
4. Ranpo Kitan It's gre- Well okay it's pretty quirky. I certainly dislike the director, Kishi Seiji, very, very much but so far he's doing alright with this show. Has best girl and best pedophile of the season.
5. GATE First episode was great. Second episode a bit less so. Third episode was better. Rory best loli. She's too lewd, my heart can't take it. OP is really nice too, by Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets who sings some 2hu stuff and more notably HOTD's opening.
6. Gakkou Gurashi First two episodes made me curious enough to read the manga, so I guess the adaptation did it's job well enough. Now, the manga, that shit is depressing ;_;. Cute girls suffering and all that. Good stuff.

1. Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (idk why) itsucks, something something red hair D: *yona flashbacks*
2. Aoharu x Kikanjuu The MC is a (meh) girl, my dreams are crushed, there is no true yaoi.
3. Charlotte This is actually pretty interesting. I really like how the powers are "incomplete" and flawed, makes it fun. It's pretty enjoyable as far as the summer season goes. Try it :D
4. Danchigai It's alright, kinda cute I guess
5. Gakkou Gurashi So, here's the issue with Gakkou Gurashi; the first episode. The first episode is 20 minutes of extremely boring moeblob which has legitimately made people stop watching midway through it, just so it can pull off a stupid twist in the end and say "look look it's not cute it's actually zombies". It was a nice idea, but 20 minutes is just too much considering awfully dull and boring it was. The second episode is nice and all, it actually shows you how they deal with zombies and get food and water, but still... I guess it's okay so far?

7. Himouto! Umaru-chan Sorry I doubted you, Al. This is amazing, it's adorable, it's fun, it's everything, everythiiiiiiiiiiiiiing, even if I did assume it was a kids' show at first. 11. Overlord Our lovely Madhouse series of the season. I'm having mixed feeling about this, I want to hype it but... it's kinda slow even if it's only been 2 episodes, it's only one cour so I'm wondering how this will go. Still, I have a lot to say about the pace of the show and its impact on- ALBEDO ALBEDO ALBEDO LOVE AND PASSION ED

14. Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai Definitely a one of its kind. An anime you had never even imagined would exist. In a world where sex jokes are illegal to say, where hentai is illegal to watch, where it's illegal to even draw a nude... Blue Snow shall rise and teach the world about all the sex words in the world!! Seriously, high school students know how pregnancy works at all. Solution? SPREAD ALL THE SEX JOKES. 10/10 reminds me of Seitokai Yakuindomo for its abundance of sex puns. Beautiful anime ;_;
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllll, I'll get to DRRR, Gatchaman, and Non Non eventually. Is there any anime this season I'm missing out on? Besides GATE according to Danna? Also how were Chaos Dragon and God Eater......? I'm skeptical to try them
