-My opponent normal summons Arcana Force VI - The Lovers
-My opponent activates The Sanctuary in the Sky
-My opponent declares an attack on Bestiari
-I activate my face-down Forbidden Lance

Does my opponent take battle damage?

Is your opponent said Arcana Force? If not, then no, he doesn't take battle damage.

To elaborate,sanctuary in the sky's effect doesnt apply to all fairy monsters on the field and makes them battle-damage-proof,the effect applies to the player.
