Even if DMC is an anime, the twelve episode long anime still counts.
Now the plot may not be all too interesting since it involves Dante on several different and unrelated missions (only two missions are related throughout the anime), but the animation and fight scenes are what's really special. Personally, out of all the animations I watched, DMC has the best animated fighting scenes out of them all.
