Minimalist wallpaper I made, though going full minimalist is too much work atm for me... maybe next time...


I can't believe I've been working on my laptop for 5 days. I got Windows 10 (Beta) installed in the end. I safely unparked my core processors (I don't even want to write a few Rainmeter scripts to display the other 2 cores' temperature statuses...I'm tired >_>) and you see that my temperatures aren't at BBQ level anymore (and I'm running 10+ applications at the time of the screenshot, so I'm in good shape now!) Now I'm just waiting for a few dozen games to finish downloading. I have about 18/25 finished at the time of this post. Mostly VNs for Let's Play stuff, other games I'm trying to complete like Astebreed and Super Ultra Time Force ULTRA, and Dragon Age Inquisition. I'm glad that optimizing this piece of junk can now handle multitasking like it was made to do in the first place...

5 days of not paying $100 service bill to Geek Squad and/or Microsoft was totally worth the work and toil on my own... And no I never installed Linux, I typed in some commands into CmdPrompt and was able to save my C: drive through a system reset. Idk why I didn't think of that in the first place... (although it somehow missed all my games and 3rd party software...not an entirely big deal I must say, though a little irritating that my backup didn't work...)

Update: I reverted back to Windows 8.1 and ran into 2 more major problems along the way. My computer is now 110% fixed and I am now satisfied.
