WDA Fail(A)wards 2011

Yeah, another year is almost gone and here I am on behalf of all of you, to announce WDA's Fail(A)wards 2011 opening ceremony.

Some of WDA's members arrived earlier than expected, let's take a look at how they dressed for this special ocassion (if you dare)!

Enough...Let's start with the nominations!

1. Member of the Year

Who do you think is the coolest member around? Nominate him/her!

2. Staff Member of the Year

Who's the most hardworking staff member in WDA (if there's any )? Nominate him/her!

3. Tester of the Year

The one who's always there to test newcomers, and does a great job while at it wich is also important. Nominate him/her!

4. Dueling Revelation of the Year

"I don't know who you are, never saw you coming, but you kicked my ass, so yeah, gg *ragequits*". That describes a Dueling Revelation fairly well right?

5. Duelist of the Year

The guy you don't want to encounter in a tournament, skilled, talented like few. Nominate him/her!

6. Sacker of the Year

You don't want to encounter this one in tournaments either. Yes, the guy that gets a win out of NOWHERE while being destroyed from turn 1, just by sacking that 1 card that screws you.

7. GFXer of the Year

The academy wouldn't be the same without GFXers, so I encourage you to give the best one of them this award. Nominate him/her!

8. (Fail)Troll Food of the Year

Pretty self explanatory, that poor guy that gets haunted by failtrolls day and night. If this somehow starts a fight, I'll personally ask the staff to ban the one who started it and remove this nomination. WDA is one of the troll capitals of YGO Online so it's impossible to skip this award without even mentioning it.

9. Spammer of the Year

The guy that is always posting bullshit and filling topics with irrelevant stuff. Nominate him/her!

Category n.1 Member of the Year: I'll nominate Minako, because the only way to be a good member around here is to never be around, so kudos to minako for taking the high road with a minimum attendance in the public despite being the head of the academy.

Category n.2 Staff: Since it's "Of the year" I'll assume TWA counts as well and will nominate Durzo. As he himself stated it was only out for concern he took over, so thank you durzo for making the ultimate sacrifice for our sake

Category n.3 Tester: I will nominate DigiDigi, for her devotion, hard work and- ok, let's be honest, the real reason is protector of the sanctuary. She really did work hard though, so thank you. But come on, it's protector of the sanctuary, how can you say no to that.

Category n.4 Revelation: I will nominate Pyro for that one duel where he introduced me to the drunken dueling style, where he strategically opted to make the worst moves available allowing him to get around every trap or strategy I had since they were made under the assumption the correct moves would be made. He won that game.

Category n.5 Duelist: Karin, I don't want to encounter her in a tournament, sorry. I mean it's bad if I lose, but it's worse if I win, what am I supposed to do in that case? If I post the victory there will be hell to come...

Category n.6 Sacker: Everyone does that to me everywhere, I stopped counting eventually...

Category n.7 GFXer: rjuto, duh

Category n.8 Troll Food: Karin, no explanation needed

Category n.9 Spammer: I was going to go with some good ol' Hallow_greed style "Welcome 2 TWA" since I assumed TWA would be included, but I'll just pick something closer. Since I want a current spammer I won't nominate Unknown either and his epic "stop spamming!" spam attack. I will not nominate Silver as well, since he probably is trying to say something most of the times and I consider it spam because I don't understand it. I won't nominate karin too because it would be the third one. I will instead nominate nour, in your little time here you have proved to be an excelent spammer, a quality of a true WDA member (348 users, 23735 posts)

Category n.1 Member of the Year: Dew. He is a freakin' saint.

Category n.2 Staff: Al-Bhed. He can change opinions, including my stubborn mind, with 5+ paragraphs.

Category n.3 Tester: Al-Bhed, didnt wanna be arrogant and nominate myself because his results are far more detailed and anylized than mine.

Category n.4 Revelation: The one person that caught me off guard was Turtle-san for the longest time (until I beat him with Rock Stun 1 month in my early WDA days, then lost every single duel against him until fairly recently last month.) Damn them Gigasworns, his deck build defies logic lmao

Category n.5 Duelist: The single duelist that has, by far, impressed me is my beloved LF. He stands as the single duelist that I have challenged for a duel and have never won against here at WDA (includes any part of a match as well, he always scores 2-0 on me.) I just can't beat him lol.

Category n.6 Sacker: I can say Turtle again, but the person I believe has remarkable sacking skills is 99nour. When she first arrived she went on a serious winning streak that was later stomped on by me and some of the other staff, sadly. However she has always shown great potential and I really do look forward to the day where she blooms~!

Category n.7 GFXer: Kimo-Kimo-Senpai! This is the least we can do to thank him

Category n.8 Troll Food: In my opinion, the most fail troll in my eyes probably had to be Saberboy. So many faces have been self-smacked by your doing. I hope you're happy with yourself sir.

Category n.9 Spammer: When I first became mod, the one person that always kept me busy was Supasmash. He would spam the chatbox with some 20 messages, alongside this: :KK: (thank god those days are over.) He has shown some better behavior and I will give him a hug if he gets an award for this.
EDIT: #8: Dragonclaw for sure. (since I misread the category >.<)

This is nominations right? If so what's the point of everyone nominating the same people? It would be different if we were voting, but we are just nominating, But meh if you choose like the 3 or 4 top nominated people that would make sense, but anyway that's all I was wandering.

Category n.1 Member of the Year: Kitouski. The fact that you have been called over 99 names is just enough proof.

Category n.2 Staff: Minako. The most helpful way to contribute to the staff is to never be there nearly three-fourths of the time, so thank you, Mina.

Category n.3 Tester: Digi gets my vote, and it isn't because of Protector of the Sanctuary.

Category n.4 Revelation: Karin. She's a somewhat good duelist. Already enough that losing to her is bad for your pride, but beating her is worse.

Category n.5 Duelist: Silver, for his undying enthusiasm to give archtype decks a shot even though decks don't have to be archtype-strict.

Category n.6 Sacker: bakura normal. No one has ever beaten me like that three times in a row.

Category n.7 GFXer: IronicTrout just to win over bakura's bet (Seet Page 1). Naw, seriously. He does deserve it. Hard-working and true as always.
