Today is Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. The man needs no introduction. He was a great man. He did a great deal to make it so that everyone was equal, despite what color you were. Thank you, happy birthday, and rest in peace.

i'd like to take a moment and say thx to all of you here on the forum that took heed to the fact that it was his bday and had the respect to create this topic and post here showing your respect.
i'm thankful for everything that he did and stood for, because i know had he not taken those chances i may not be where i am today. thank you Dr. King for all you did, your sacrifces, your courage, and commitment will always live on in the hearts and souls of the african american community.

Sorry if I meant to bash but I took the color blind sarcasm personally cuz I've experienced racism and all that jazz and I despise it. He did a lot for black people and I found that comment too disrespectful for my tastes.
