It's most certainly interesting you don't go down in tier after you achieve getting to it which might be letting players off to easy but meh other than that not too much has changed except that you will probably see a lot more seriousness in the promotional matches than normal due to the fact that you're getting queued with/against players that are nearing their promotional matches.
