Subject: Let's Nuzlocke with Mirasi! Pokemon Black 2 edition. Wed Aug 21, 2013 4:09 am
Pokemon Black 2 Nuzlocke. This is my second Nuzlocke. Sorry I didn't finish my pokemon ruby nuzlocke, I lost the save file for it. I will continue it when I refind the save file.
For those of you who don't know what a Nuzlocke is, it's a set of player-imposed rules that aim to make the game more difficult and emotionally dear for the person doing it.
The basic rules for Nuzlocke are as follows:
1. Player may only catch one pokemon that appears in each new area, like Routes, caves, sea.
2. If a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and cannot be used for the remainder of the game. It must be boxed in the PC or released.
3. You must nickname each Pokemon you catch/obtain. This serves to build an emotional bond with the Pokemon and makes one 'dying' even more emotionally painful for the player.
I will be adhering to these rules mentioned above as I travel through the game and accomplish things. I will add my own personal experience to most pictures, as a way to entertain the people reading along and to also get across how I view the people and pokemon I encounter. (Note, the forum's background music will be whatever is deemed the background music of the latest featured battle.)
Prologue:
Spoiler:
and so it begins! with the naming of my character, the star of our show (Mirasi) and his rival, (Kzook), the adventure shall now commence.
Spoiler:
AND SO, THE SEMI-3D CINEMATICS BEGIN... AND INTRODUCE ME TO THE START OF MY GAME.
Spoiler:
After waking up, my mother tells me to go look for some person with a green hat in order to get my first pokemon.
Spoiler:
After leaving my house, Kzook and his little sister "Kzook's Sister" approach me and tell me I need to get my rear end to bianca and get a pokemon, so that Kzook has someone he can rely on to help him with his adventure.
Spoiler:
After walking around for a bit, I found someone with a green hat, fitting the description of bianca. And so, I went to speak to them.
Spoiler:
After speaking for a bit, I found out that this person was indeed Bianca, and was looking for me.
Spoiler:
Bianca put her hand down the back of her skirt, fiddled for a bit, then pulled this tray out. Not going to ask any questions about where it came from, but apparantly it contains one of the 3 pokemon that I can choose for my starter.
Spoiler:
After reviewing the pokemon for a while, I decided to choose Snivy as my starter. This is because, even though I tend to choose the water type, Snivy is superior to the other 2 starters in terms of speed, which I find as one of the most vital stats.
Spoiler:
And so, Boris the Snivy joined the team.
Spoiler:
No truer words have ever been spoken in a pokemon game.
Spoiler:
After accepting Boris on to my team, Bianca gave me a pokedex, and asked me to help complete the said item.
Spoiler:
shortly after, Kzook appears and tells me that I need to take good care of my pokemon.
Spoiler:
Just as I was about to leave, Kzook stops me and challenges me to a battle. Bring. It. On.
Spoiler:
And so the battle begun. Boris stole the first move with a brilliant Tackle, knocking the tepig into a nearby tree. Tepig got back up, and charged at Boris, hitting back with a tackle. Boris brushed off the hit, and continued to attack Tepig with tackle, whilst Tepig attempted to whip Boris with his tail. Failing to whip Boris one more time, Boris charged in with a final Tackle, finishing off Tepig.
Spoiler:
I'll have you know Boris just won his battle with a type disadvantage!
Spoiler:
and so, Bianca takes me to the pokemon centre to show me around.
Spoiler:
Bianca took me inside, and walked me up to the counter. Once there, Joy asked me for my balls. Joy took my balls in hand, and healed them up, restoring my pokemon to full hp.
Spoiler:
Bianca didn't think I had enough balls, so she gave me some more.
Spoiler:
after going outside, I was greeted by my Mother and Kzook's sister, who gave me running shoes and a town map.
Spoiler:
Silly Kzook, running off without seeing his family. Taking up the title of "errand boy", I accepted the request to take the second town map to Kzook.
Spoiler:
SHH! people could get the wrong idea!
Spoiler:
And so, my adventure begins. I have left the walls of my home town, and I shall embark on an adventure! But first, a guide on how to catch pokemon by Bianca.
Chapter 1:
Spoiler:
On my way to the next town, I found this little lady sitting on a rock. She came over to me, purring, and started walking in and out of my legs. I put a pokeball to her head, and caught her.
Spoiler:
As I moved towards the town to give Kzook his town map, this guy showed up. He told me to follow him, and with a little resilience, I did.
Spoiler:
He took me to his house, and asked me to start training with him. Nervously, I explained how I was looking for Kzook to give him the town map. He then mentioned that he'd seen Kzook earlier, and told me where to find him.
Spoiler:
After some long venturing, I arrived at Floccesy Ranch. This was the place that Kzook was supposed to be training.
Spoiler:
After going in, I found Kzook, who immediately challenged me to a battle.
Spoiler:
And so the battle begun, I sent out Boris, and Kzook sent out Tepig. Boris attacked first, jumping from fence to fence trying to confuse Tepig, before charging in and hitting it with a Tackle. Tepig stuttered back and snorted. It then picked itself up, and hit Boris with a Tackle. Boris jumped back after the hit, and glared at Tepig, waiting for my order. When the order was given, Boris charged in and used Tackle again. The Tepig went flying into a fence, and stumbled to it's feet. Kzook gave it some words of encouragement as it charged into Boris. However, Boris used it's hands to stop it in it's place, holding it in place for a direct attack. With one final Tackle, Boris finished the job, and I won the battle.
Spoiler:
After the battle, the ranch owners came to see what was going on. They gave us some potions and told us that their Herdier had gone missing. Kzook got angry at the owner's calm reaction to the situation, spouting about how the Herdier could never come back. He then ran off to look for it deeper in the ranch.
Spoiler:
I decided to help in the search for Herdier, and found myself going deeper in to the ranch. After a while, I heard a bark, and Kzook came rushing in. We split up to look for the source of the sound.
Spoiler:
As I ventured further in, I found this man. As I approached the man, he revealed himself as a member of team plasma. He got very angry, and started shouting and cursing. He then through TM21 at me after shouting "Take this!", and ran away.
Spoiler:
Kzook came along with the ranch owner, and the Herdier was reunited with it's owner. Kzook then ran off, shouting about how the owner should take more care of his pokemon. I decided to hang around the ranch a bit more to train my pokemon.
Spoiler:
Whilst I was training, I found this friendly little fellow mulling on some grass. Riri ran up to him and jumped on his back, playing with the fur. The 2 got along well, so I placed a pokeball on his head, catching him. Riri was happy to have a new member on the team, however Boris did his standard reaction of not caring and looking proud of himself. Welcome to the team, Sparkz.
Spoiler:
After returning to town, Alder approached me and asked me to help him with something.
Spoiler:
After entering Alder's house, I discovered that the "help" Alder wanted was beating up his kids. First up was Seymour. After Seymour's defeat, I had to battle with Cassie. Afterwards, the kids started talking about type match-ups, and Alder told me that I should think about them on my journey in order to grow stronger.
Spoiler:
As I was leaving, Alder came out and told me to go back to Aspertia and challenge the new gym leader as a test of strength.
Spoiler:
As I started to leave, Alder jumped down and gave me some berries.
Spoiler:
Alder proceeded to tell me that the gym leader was strong, and so the berries would help ease the battle a little if I gave them to the pokemon.
Spoiler:
And so I stood there, at the entrance to the trainers school with the gym lying out the back.
Spoiler:
I went to the backyard of the trainers school, and was greeted by Clyde who gave me some fresh water. Cheren then split his trainers up and told me that if I wished to challenge him I would first need to beat both of them.
Spoiler:
After beating Pedro and Serena, I approached Cheren and prepared to battle him.
Spoiler:
I opened with Sparkz, as normal. Cheren opened with Patrat. Sparkz used thunderwave, and the Patrat fell down. Sparkz then used Thundershock. The Patrat glared, as it began to work itself up, raising it's attack and sp. attack stat. Sparkz used Thundershock again, and this time, the Patrat charged straight into it. Patrat took a direct hit, however it then landed a strong hit on Sparkz, who was unable to dodge due to them attacking. This dropped Sparkz into the yellow. Sparkz quickly dug into it's fur, eating it's oran berry whole. Sparkz then charged in, and finished patrat off with a Tackle. Cheren sent out his ace. Lillipup came to the field, and glared at Sparkz. Stealing the first move, it hit Sparkz with a tackle. However, this didn't do much damage. Instead, it served to activate Sparkz's ability, which paralysed the Lillipup. Cheren stood there in shock of my cunning, as I switched into Riri. I wasn't going to let him land a single attack. Riri used sand attack, lowering the accuracy of the foe. Lillipup used work up, raising it's attack stat. This continued for 4 turns, until Lillipup finally broke out and tried to attack Riri. However, due to it's low accuracy, it completely missed. It was time to bring out Boris. I switched into Boris, who used Vine Whip on the foe. Lillipup began to work itself up again. Due to the low damage vine whip did, I commanded Boris to take a break and use Leer to lower the enemy's defences. The Lillipup used Work Up. Boris used Leer again, and as it did, Lillipup charged in and used Tackle! It lowered Boris right down to red health. I knew it wasn't safe to keep Boris out anymore, so I returned him before he fainted and sent in Sparkz. Lillipup attempted to attack it's new foe, but it's paralysis kicked in, and it fell to the ground. Sparkz used this opportunity to land a direct hit onto the Lillipup, bringing it down to weakness. With a final push, Sparkz attacked with Tackle, and the Lillipup fainted. Cheren returned it to it's ball and congratulated me on my victory.

Spoiler:
After the battle, Cheren awarded be with the Basic Badge, and told me that with strength like mine, I should enter the pokemon league. I went back to the pokemon centre to rest up my pokemon. They battled well.
Spoiler:
After leaving the gym, Bianca approached me and gave me TM27. Shortly after, Cheren came out and re-united with Bianca. They gave me their numbers, along with Professor Juniper's number.
Spoiler:
After registering, Professor Juniper called me. She told me about how it's more important to enjoy my pokemon journey than it is to complete the pokedex. Cheren looked unimpressed.
Spoiler:
After the chat ended, Kzook came along and challenged Cheren's gym.
I'm routing for Cheren. After Cheren and Kzook left, Bianca gave me the C-Gear.
Spoiler:
As I headed towards the next gym, Cheren and Kzook approached me from behind. Cheren explained to us about dark grass, and how it contains more powerful pokemon, and sometimes 2 come out at a time. This will be useful for training.
Spoiler:
whilst training for a bit, I came across this pokemon. It gave my pokemon a hard battle, putting both Boris and Riri's health into the red zone. After witnessing that, I had to catch it. I finished up training, and headed to the next city.
Chapter 2:
Spoiler:
As I entered the next city, the Xtransceiver rang.It was my mother. She rang to tell me about the Virbank Complex. She also told me that it would be a good place to train. Maybe I'll check it out.
Spoiler:
After heading towards the pokemon centre, I stumbled upon a fabulous sailor arguing with a girl who clearly has daddy issues about what he was going to do with his life.
Spoiler:
It turns out the fabulous sailor was the girl's father. The girl also turned out to be this city's gym leader, Roxie. And yes, it turns out she did have daddy issues.
Spoiler:
After healing up at the centre, I headed to the Virbank Complex.
Spoiler:
Not seeing much to do, I headed to the inside of the Virbank Complex.
Spoiler:
Just inside the Complex, I found this guy, who asked me to motivate his workers by battling them.
Spoiler:
Whilst wondering around the inside of the complex, this friendly girl came and jumped up at me. She accidentally knocked her head on one of my pokeballs whilst jumping. Welcome to the team, Akari.
Spoiler:
I managed to encourage the workers, and as a thanks the man who asked me to encourage them gave me rock smash. I decided to head outside to do some training.
Spoiler:
Found this guy in the outer Virbank Complex. I'm sure he'll come in useful. Welcome to the team, Shocky.
Spoiler:
After realising that the next gym challenge would be poison type, I realised Boris would be weak. To make up for this, we did some vigorous training, and all of a sudden Boris started to glow!
Spoiler:
Suddenly, I realised what had happened. Boris had evolved, become bigger and stronger than his former self. His will to assist me so that we can become the worlds strongest team illuminated brightly. He may be a Grass-type, but his will is definitely fire-type.
Spoiler:
Naturally, I wasn't just training Boris for the battle. After some more training, Sparkz also began to glow.
Spoiler:
BAM, before I knew it, Sparkz had evolved! He started running around frantically, and I could feel his new power flying all around. It was electrifying.
Spoiler:
And so, after the training, I stood there in front of Virbank gym, and took a deep breath as I went in.
Spoiler:
After entering, Clyde came up to me and told me about how Roxie doubles as a Rock Band Musician, and gave me water.
Spoiler:
When I entered, Roxie was there practicing with her band. They weren't the best, but they weren't the worst either.
Spoiler:
I attempted to challenge Roxie, but the music was too loud and she couldn't hear me. Guess I'll have to deal with her band members first.
Spoiler:
After defeating her band members, I approached and challenged Roxie. And so it begins, the battle with Gym Leader Roxie. (Note, I am uploading the battle in a different style.) -feature battle music - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCJz33hKDR0
Spoiler:
Koffing stole the first move, and attacked with tackle. Shocky buffered a little, and responded with Sonic Boom. Koffing was sent flying into a wall. It glared at Shocky, wanting revenge.
Spoiler:
At this point, Roxie realised that I had been training for this battle. She commented on how she could feel my desire to win, but tried to assure me that it wouldn't be easy.
Spoiler:
The koffing used Tackle again, after taking the first move. Shocky responded with another Sonic Boom, and sent it flying into the wall. That was 1 pokemon down.
Spoiler:
Next up was Roxie's Whirlpede.
Spoiler:
Whirlpede took the first move, outspeeding shocky greatly. Shocky ignored this, however, as it did little damage. He merely continued to use SonicBoom, as I told him to do. I felt assured that using this move alone was enough to win this badge.
Spoiler:
Another Pursuit from Whirlpede, and another SonicBoom from Shocky. how long would Shocky hold out doing this? maybe I should rename Shocky "Sonic the Hedgehog."
Spoiler:
Much to my surprise, Roxie decided to skip her next attack. In exchange, she used a super potion on her Whirlpede, restoring it to full health.
Spoiler:
Shocky was unfazed by the restoration of health. He ignored it, and charged in, hitting Whirlpede with yet another SonicBoom.
Spoiler:
Whirlpede attacked Shocky with pursuit again. Shocky stuttered a little, starting to get weakened by this barrage of weak attacks. However, he battled through the pain, and hit Whirlpede with another SonicBoom.
Spoiler:
Whirlpede fainted. I had won, just like I thought I would. Shocky's experience of pure domination was enough to level him up. here marks Gym win no. 2.
(which gym battle display do you prefer, the one used on the first gym, or this one? leave your answer as a reply)
Spoiler:
After the battle, Roxie congratulated me on my victory and gave me my newly earned gym badge. Maybe she's not such a bad person after all?
Spoiler:
Despite being defeated, Roxie smiled as she glomped me and thanked me for a good battle. As a token of gratitude, she gave me TM09, Venoshock. She told me I should go and check out Pokestar Studios if I have the time. I guess I have nothing better to do.
Spoiler:
After the battle, I went to leave the area when some guy came up to me and asked me to go to pokestar studios. Upon hearing it, Roxie ran down and spoke to me, then remembered that her father had gone there.
Spoiler:
Upon arrival, I was introduced to the head of Pokestar Studios, Mr. Stu Deeoh. He seemed alright, however he went off quickly, saying he had to prepare things for me.
Spoiler:
After Mr. Stu Deeoh had left, the guy who approached me in the gym started to show me around the place and tell me about what they do.
Spoiler:
The first place we went to was the movie theater.
Spoiler:
When we entered the theater, the gay sailor- I mean, Roxie's dad, was in there. He thanked the guy for recruiting him to pokestar studios, and started going on about his movie debut.
Spoiler:
After a while, the sailor noticed me and asked who I was. The guy told the sailor about me, and how I beat Roxie. He also told me that he was trying to recruit me to pokestar studios. The sailor said I should watch his film to get an idea on how to act.
Spoiler:
And so the movie began!
Spoiler:
...It was terrible.
Spoiler:
After the movie, I went outside and the sailor started talking about dreams. He had realised that he didn't have what it takes to be a movie star, and announced that he was going back to his normal life of running the ship.
Spoiler:
The next place I visited was the filming studio.
Spoiler:
Once inside, Mr. Stu Deeoh re-introduced himself and told me that they wanted me to be in a film, and had even got a special movie star in specifically to film with me. I tried to leave, but the recruiter wouldn't let me, and so I ended up making the film.
Spoiler:
And so we started making the film. It didn't seem that bad, I just used my knowledge of type match-ups to win battles, and read the script.
Spoiler:
After a few minutes, we finished the scene. The director seemed impressed with it. I left the room.
Spoiler:
After leaving, Mr. Stu Deeoh came up to me and asked me to go to the theater with him. his speech was strange, it was almost as if he was hitting on me. I was scared.
Spoiler:
...And so, at the first opportunity, I ran. I kept running until I came upon the port, and found Team Plasma here, with Roxie and Kzook facing them...
Spoiler:
After talking for a bit, Kzook got angry at the grunts, calling them nothing but pokemon thieves.
Spoiler:
Next, plasma declare that they will attempt to steal our pokemon!
Spoiler:
and so, begin a battle with a plasma grunt and the first plasma battle.
Spoiler:
I oppened with Riri, they opened with Patrat. I took the first move, using return to hit patrat to near-half energy. Patrat stood there, taking the attack. Riri attacked, using fury swipes. The patrat was nearly down, but it didn't do anything. Then, all of a sudden, Patrat started to glow, as it unleashed energy, hitting Riri down to low health! Riri backed off, injured. "Thief!" I shouted. Riri undestood and attacked the patrat with Thief. We won the battle.
Spoiler:
After the battle, Team Plasma ran off in a panic. Roxie told us to split up and look for them on route 20, and gave me HM01, Cut. Shortly after, Kzook ran off. His hatred for team plasma seems to run deep.
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
After looking around, I found a team plasma grunt lying around on route 20.
Spoiler:
They opened with Purrloin, and I opened with Riri. Riri took the first attack, using Return to hit it down to near-half, just like the patrat. their Purrloin responded with a furry swipes, but didn't land a single hit. grinning, I gave Riri the order to use fury swipes. their Purrloin was weak and on minimal health. They commanded it to use fury swipes, and it did, however after the second scratch, Riri grabbed it and scratched it once on the face, winning the battle. The grunt then ran off, shouting something about escaping by sea.
Spoiler:
When I returned, I saw Roxie calming down her father, saying that his film was good. Shortly after, she came up to me and told me that if I wished, I could go to Castelia city. She looked slightly sad, as she walked back to her gym.
chapter 3:
Spoiler:
And so, que 3D cinematics as we set off to Casatelia city.
Spoiler:
As we headed towards the city, I could feel a burst of excitement running through me. The lights ablaze, the view from the boat was amazing!
Spoiler:
After arriving in Castelia, Kzook ran off to search for team plasma. I decided to look around the city, and enjoy my time here.
Spoiler:
As I took my first few steps in to the city, a man approached me and gave me a bike. Could this be love?
Spoiler:
I decided to head on to the route and do some training, after all, my pokemon weren't particularly in top condition. They needed more training, so that's what I did. As I was heading there, Bianca approached me and gave me the dowsing machine.
Spoiler:
I headed to the gym, and found Clyde standing outside. He told me that the gym leader had gone to go look for trouble in the city. A girl named Iris appeared shortly after that. I told her my story about team plasma, and she said that the team was disbanded 2 years ago. She then said she knew somewhere that trouble-makers would hide.
Spoiler:
After following Iris, I found myself at the city sewer. Kzook came along and asked if I had seen team plasma. I filled him in, and he instantly ran into the sewer.
Spoiler:
As I went into the sewer, Kzook told me I needed to get tougher so that he could beat team plasma. We then teamed up to look for team plasma.
Spoiler:
Eventually we found some grunts at the end of the sewer. We entered in a double battle with them.
Spoiler:
They sent out Scraggy and Sandile, I sent out Akari, and Kzook sent out pignite. Akari went first, using rock smash to kill off the scraggy in one hit. The sandile was next to attack, as it used tackle on Kzook's pignite. Pignite used flame charge, and killed the sandile right there and then. We won the battle.
Spoiler:
After the battle, Kzook said we should go in further to look for more plasma grunts. Burgh appeared and told us that there was no need to go further, and that we'd dealt with them all. Kzook gave me HM04 Strength as a thank-you for helping, then ran off to train in order to challenge Burgh.
Spoiler:
After Kzook left, a strange guy with some weird blue thing sticking out of his head approached us and said that he was moved by the battle skill that I displayed. He then disappeared. Burgh told me I could either stay in the sewer and train, or challenge him at the gym. I don't think a little training would hurt too much.
Spoiler:
Whilst training, I stumbled across this Onix in a path I was wondering. When he survived Boris' vine whip, I was impressed, so I caught him. Welcome to the team, Samile.
Spoiler:
Another pokemon I met whilst training, Legulus. This guy gave me a hard time with Boris, so I knew he would benefit my team. Shocky and Sparkz have been put in the PC for now, as I have no use for electric types in the next gym. Legulus and Samile are now on the team.
Spoiler:
After looking around the sewers, I discovered this secret part of Castelia city. It looks like a good place to train.
Spoiler:
Whilst training in the hidden area, I stumbled accoss an eevee. Knowing how rare Eevee are, I knew that I had to catch it, no matter what. Akira has now taken Riri's spot on the team, whilst Riri has been put in the PC for a rest.
Spoiler:
As we were training, Reika began to glow white.
Spoiler:
And before I knew it, Reika had evolved! Good job, Reika. Your hard work up till now is paying off.
Spoiler:
However, once wasn't enough for Reika. Shortly after evolving, Reika evolved again! Congratulations on becoming a Leavanny, Reika.
Spoiler:
With a lot of training, I decided it was time to test my skills at the gym.
Spoiler:
After entering the gym, I was greeted by Clyde who explained the gym layout and gave me some Fresh Water. Thank-you, Clyde.
Spoiler:
After finding my way through the gym, I arrived at Burgh's room. I took a deep breath, and checked me team. Akari and Legulus looked at me ambitiously, as we prepared for the battle.
And so, Burgh choses Sewaddle as his first pokemon. I send out Akari, who has a clear advantage.
Spoiler:
"Flame Wheel!" I shout, trying to start things off on a quick vibe. Akari responded fast.
Spoiler:
And with 1 hit, Sewaddle was down. First victory to me. Akari jumped up and pounced on me, and I gently patted her head as Burgh readied his next pokemon.
Spoiler:
Burgh announced that he would use Dwebble as his next pokemon. I had prepared for this. I called Akari back, and sent in Samile.
Spoiler:
Samile took the first move, hitting the Dwebble with a Smack down.
Spoiler:
It didn't do as much damage as I thought, but it was enough to give Samile a clear advantage. Burgh commanded Dwebble to use Rock Polish, which increased it's speed.
Spoiler:
Thanks to the Rock Polish, Dwebble was able to get in first with the next attack and use Struggle Bug. It didn't do much damage, but it lowered Samile's Sp. Attack stat. Samile responded, and used Rock Tomb, causing a lot of damage to Dwebble.
Spoiler:
Much to my annoyance, Burgh used a Hyper Potion just as I was about to finish off the Dwebble.
Spoiler:
I commanded Samile to use Smack down again, and it hit, dealing about the same amount of damage as it did before.
Spoiler:
Dwebble stole the first move again, using a struggle bug. As before, it did little damage, but lowered Samile's Sp. Attack stat. Samile responded using another Rock Tomb.
Spoiler:
It did a fair amount of damage, and lowered Dwebbles Speed. victory was close now.
Spoiler:
Before Burgh had a chance to do anything, I shouted, getting Samile right in there with another Rock Tomb. I thought this would finish it.
Spoiler:
But somehow, Dwebble survived the attack! It used Rock Polish to increase it's speed.
Spoiler:
Next, Dwebble managed to steal the first attack, and hit Samile with another Struggle Bug. Again, it did little damage. We had this battle. With a click of my fingers, Samile used Rock tomb.
Spoiler:
Dwebble was down. Burgh was a fool and told me his ace pokemon was a Leavanny before the battle. I knew exactly what to do.
Spoiler:
I sent Akari back in, and Burgh sent out Leavanny. Burgh realised his position as he looked at Akari, knowing that Leavanny wouldn't be able to survive many hits, if any.
Spoiler:
Leavanny stole the first attack, and used Cut on Akari. Akari responded and attacked with Flame Wheel.
Spoiler:
With one hit, Leavanny took a 4x supereffective hit from Akari.
Spoiler:
The battle was decided. Legulus was the only pokemon to level up this battle (from the EXP share) hitting level 23.
Spoiler:
After the battle, Burgh congratulated me and gave my my gym badge. He also gave me the TM for struggle bug.
Spoiler:
As I started to head out of the city, I met the weird guy in the white coat again. He told me his name was Colress, and started saying stiff about how I can bring out my pokemons power. He said he would be waiting for me on the route.
Spoiler:
Blocking the path to the next city where a load of pokemon who had fallen asleep. Colress used some energising defice that woke them up, and they all ran off quickly. He then said how he disagreed with team plasma.
Spoiler:
After that, we went into a battle.
Spoiler:
Colress opened with Magnemite. I opened with Servine. I used mega drain repeatedly, recovering any damage he dealt until the magnemite was down. He then sent out Klink. I sent out Akari. Akari used flame wheel, and almost killed it. The klink used a thundershock, dealing some damage to Akari. Akari used fire fang to finish the job.
Spoiler:
After the battle, Colress gave me a protein as a thank-you for showing him my pokemon's power.
Spoiler:
I then discovered the desert resort, and decided to look around.
Spoiler:
I went deeper into the desert resort, and found that this place would be a good place to train. I got my dowsing machine out, as items could easily be burried in the sand here.
Spoiler:
Whilst using the dousing machine, I found a fire stone, needed to evolve a pokemon.
Spoiler:
Akari jumped up at me after I found the fire stone, and hit her head on it. She suddenly started to glow.
Spoiler:
And so, by accident, Akari became one of the most powerful pokemon I've ever seen.
Spoiler:
After looking around, I discovered Relic Castle. I decided it would be a good place to adventure.
Spoiler:
Found this guy wandering around Relic Castle. He looked so lonely and sad, so I caught him. He can play with Riri and the others in the PC
Spoiler:
After continuing on to Nimbasa, I came across Join Avenue. The owner was having trouble managing it, and asked me to manage it. He asked me a few more questions as well.
Spoiler:
Afterwards, he told me about what it meant to be the manager of join avenue, and what I would have to do. He then left as he had a meeting.
Spoiler:
After he left, my new assistants approached me and gave me a nickname that would be used in the avenue.
Spoiler:
And now, I arrived in Nimbasa city, ready to take on all challenges ahead of me.
Spoiler:
As I explored the city, I met a girl named Rosa, who asked me to battle the subway bosses Ingo and Emmet with her.
Spoiler:
And so the battle began! I opened with Boris, Rosa sent out her Dewott. Ingo sent out a Gurdurr, and Emmet sent out a Boldore. Boris took the first move, using leaf storm on the Boldore. the Boldore was almost knocked out, but hung on due to it's Sturdy ability. Dewott then attacked the Boldore with Water Pulse, and it was knocked out. Gurdurr then attacked the dewott with a low sweep. Boris attacked the Gurdurr with Leaf storm, and then Dewott followed up with Water Pulse. Me and Rosa had won.
Spoiler:
After the battle, Rosa gave me a VS Seeker for battling with her. I decided to go off and do some training.
Spoiler:
After training for a bit, Akira finally started to glow.
Spoiler:
As a symbol of friendship between me and Akira, he became an Espeon, known widely for it's pyschic prowess. I could feel my team getting more powerful.
Spoiler:
As I explored, trying to find more areas to train, I came across Lostlorn Forest. It looks like a very good training area, with lots of grass for wild pokemon.
Spoiler:
As I was training, a wild Emolga came up to me and stole my hat. Akira chased after it, and came back with the Emolga on it's back, giving me my hat back. The 2 played for a bit, then Akira suddenly came up to me, took a great ball from my bag, and hit it on the Emolga's head. Welcome to the team, I guess, Sora. Sora was put in the PC to play with Riri and the others.

I always found nuzlocke challenges to be interesting because they are so much more... gripping, than a normal playthrough. Y'know, because of the bonds you make with your pokemon and all.
It's really cool that you are detailing your nuzlocke playthrough here. It could be more convenient without having to click each spoiler tag but that is necessary on this forum so I won't deduct any points there.
Legulus is best pokemon. He will be your final hope later on. Him leveling up during the battle against Burgh, without even battling himself, is proof of that.
Also, I like your choice of music.
Let's Nuzlocke with Mirasi! Pokemon Black 2 edition.
