Explain this! I can't even

I PREDICTED THAT WE'D BE GETTING A CARD TYPE THAT WOULD BE PLATED RED
Well, we always feel negative about new cards. We were negative about Synchros, then we were negative about Xyz. Granted, several of those did pave a new path for unbalanced and abusable decks. Still, I think there will still be a lot of fun that is yet to be had with this new card type before the overpowered cards come barging in. We had fun with Xyz at the beginning, and the same happened with Synchros (although there were more strong and broken cards for that era), so I'm sure we still have time to enjoy Superior cards.

Got money from a friend cause I bet there would be a card like this...although I predicted a yellow card not red. I'm interested in the new cards. I hope they are good.

but if i got it right, there's no cost on changing monsters to super-form and cannot be chain to?
if so that's a bit overwhelming

We will learn as we get closer to march, when the starter deck with the first card of that kind will be released in the OCG.

Well, you can't chain to synchro summons or xyz summons either (look at sig), but other than that, if it does turn out to be as described in the linked post (I don't trust it tbh), being unable to respond to the summon or negate it isn't that big a deal by itself. Say for example that there is a superior dark magician. When Dark Magician himself is summoned, it is clearly signaling the pendulum summon or whatever it is called, so you can respond to the summon of the Dark Magician himself appropriately. Also, extra deck space is actually quite precious nowadays unfortunately.

Sorry for not posting this the day of announcement. This poses many unanswered questions that need more explaining such as "How exactly do you summon a Pendulum Monster?" to asking about the finer details about the Pendulum characteristics of it being a spell and monster at times.
