Dogs. They will atleast try to save you if your house is on fire and you're in trouble or if anything else goes wrong because Dogs can sense when their master is in pain and when they need help. Dogs have saved lives. My Cat saved my life. Said no one ever. Dogs and puppies in particular can be just as adorable. see? Also, Dogs protect the home and the family against any intruders. My cat bit the shit out of that burglar! Said no one ever. Dogs ftw!

I have owned cats and dogs at the same time and well, you feed both, clean up after both, and make sure both don't get sick so let's take that out. The difference is that cats are lazy and dogs are too hyper. I can just relax with my cat but my dog would have me outside throwing a ball. My only exception to dogs are old dogs because they have gone to the age where all they want to do now is relax and be lazy.

As it stands, I have 2 cats, but wish I had dogs.

You don't need something that offers you many advantages to love it back. While dogs indeed are great companions, I still prefer cats.

While cats can be hilariously funny I gotta go with dogs :3
