| So I was procrastinating earlier today when I found out about a little something called randomized Fire Emblem!!!!!!!!111111 What it is, basically, is that everything is randomized. Your units are randomized, and their classes are randomized. No, no, it's more fun than it sounds, hold on. My four starter units, for example, include...  This is Florina, my first unit and prized Troubadour! She's the Lord-equivalent, so if she dies, it's a game over.  Next up we have this OP guy! Carries. Alll the carries.  There's still some good normal-ish units though.  As well as some trash. HE STARTED WITH ZERO SPEED, gdi. THREE WINS AND THREE LOSSES. DO YOU SEE THAT? HAVING 13 DEFENSE ISN'T ENOUGH WHEN YOU'RE QUAD-HIT. I still haven't stumbled upon Eliwood, Hector, or Lyn. I've had three healers though! So how you get this suuuuper exciting little thing is: https://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?/topic/55809-universal-gba-fe-randomizer-v10/ There should be a GitHub link there for a randomizer that'll basically hack your ROM ^ So, yeah, you'll need the ROM for the Fire Emblem 6, 7, or 8th game (whichever you like, go for FE7 if you wanna be cool like me though!! FE8 if you wanna be lame like Earl!!!) From the randomizer you'll get something like this  Yes, those are my settings. You can hover over a setting and it'll give you a nice explanation. gdi, should I have randomized items and growths more? Anyway, definitely randomize classes and recruitment order. Also, "Allow crossdressing" isn't as weird as it sounds, for better or worse. It just means guys can be Pegasus knights, etc.Let me know if anyone cares?  btw it's.... it's kinda playable so far actually? | |
