Blaze's Unova Journey

Hello and welcome to Blaze's Unova Journey. Unlike my other playthroughs of the games, I will be recording the progress of Blaze's journey through the Unova region. This WILL tie into Blaze's character in the series, Pokemon Generation X. He will catch and train three Pokemon. Also, I will be writing it as if a continuation of the the previous region, and won't stick true to every detail in the original game play. I will catch HM Pokemon, but I won't be training them and will not play apart of the series outside of getting things done. So, with that out of the way, let's get started!



Beginning his new journey in the Unova Region, Blaze arrives in Nuvema Town to receive his Special Ordered Pokemon, Tepig. River and Flora also got their brand new Pokemon, Snivy and Oshawott.



After receiving his new Pokemon, he, Flora, and River had a quick battle to determine who had the best starter.




With his new Pokemon, Blaze and Tepig begin their new journey together. Their journey begins on Route 1. What awaits Blaze in the next city? Stay tuned till next time!

After much training, Blaze finally makes it to Accumula City. Once there, he overhears a man named Ghetsis talk about Pokemon Liberation. Immediately disregarding this idea as absurd, he is challenged by a man named N!


After the battle, Tepig leveled up to Lv. 13 and learned a new move, Flame Charge. This move replaces the always useless Odor Sleuth. After N comment's on Tepig's 'strange' trust in Blaze, he leaves.

Moving onto Rt. 2, Blaze continues his training, battling wild Pokemon and trainers alike.



After more training, Blaze finally decides to go to Striaton City to face the Gym Leader. However, he is stopped by Flora. Eager to battle, the two face off once again!



With the battle over, Blaze enters Striaton City. After taking Tepig to the Pokemon Center, Blaze immediately heads to the Striaton City Gym. To his dismay, the Gym Leader wasn't there. Learning that the Gym Leader was giving a presentation at the school. Upon arriving at the school, he was immediately challenged by River!


Defeated, Blaze went to the Dreamyard to resume his training before challenging for his first Gym Badge. After defeating the trainers, his Tepig leveled up once more. How will Blaze fair against the Striaton City Gym Leaders? Will he be able to defeat them, or will his loss to River diminish his momentum?

With Tepig leveled up, Blaze is ready to fight the Gym Leader! As he enters the Striaton City Gym, he discovers that this gym has not one, not two, but three different Gym Leaders! Blaze quickly dispatched the two Gym trainers and challenge the Gym Leader, Cress, to a Gym Battle.


After a fierce battle, Blaze defeated Cress to win his first Gym Badge! Also, after the match, Tepig leveled up and began it's evolution into Pignite!


Shortly after leaving Striaton City, he was joined by River. Astonished that Blaze defeated Cress for the Trio Badge, she challenged Blaze to a battle.


Gloating over her win, two strange men ran past River and Blaze. Confused, Flora quickly joined them stating that the two men had stolen a little girl's Pokemon. Now River and Blaze must work together to take down the men and bring back the little girl's Pokemon.
