What do you do?

Well, if someone broke into my house...I'd probably get robbed. I don't think I'd have time to head for the kitchen to grab a knife.

There would be an awkward silence while he realizes that
a) there is nothing to take here, unless you are willing to carry off a desktop on foot out of univesity grounds,
b) there are about 70 univesity students in distances ranging from 200 meters to less than 10 meters away,
c) he is still in university grounds even if he leaves the house, with only one way out unless he wants to jump off a cliff,
d) there is not enough space to move to possibly hope to immobilize a man, move without being noticed or have enough distance to threaten a person with a gun.

Maybe he had the wrong house and was trying to surprise one of the girls next door? Who knows.

If he's willing to steal a PS3, heavy ass TV with cable box, other heavy devices that connect everything I use in my room with ethernet, my Xbox 360, my headset box, and my IKEA made desk. Yeah he'd ragequit, but I swear if that motherfucking son of a bitch touches my laptop. He'll feel pain by the wrists of my fury. I got all kinds of knives in the fucking kitchen and if he decides to jump off my window and kill himself or run through the hallway, I'll still have enough time to torture that bastard. DON'T. TOUCH. MY. LAPTOP.

Despite the guns being there, I doubt you have enough suitable, working dry ammunition to use, and I doubt any of them would work without jamming apart from the AK due to the lack of people who buy guns, actually taking the time to take them apart and clean them.

However, if you have ammunition for the AK, you are unstoppable, nothing can jam an AK.
