I attempted one, it's way to hard.

I use god in every deck, solemn judgment is just that good. I use Solemn Warning in many decks as well.

A Marco deck is you're best bet for a considerable god card decl using D.D. survivor's effect and D.D. scout i think.

Erm, guys, haven't you ever seen Obelisk used in frognarchs? Or Uria decks for that matter?

Well he did say "new" deck. Maybe he wants us to make one that's different and new.

We are already dealing with ancient cards, "new" is a very relative term. And trying to make decks with obelisk that are even less consistent than frognarchs and/or have you go at a huge minus to do so is hardly progress.
