In the late 1800s, rich kid Jonathan Joestar is introduced to a newly orphaned youth named Dio Brando. Jonathan's wealthy father takes the boy in and raises him as his own. He torments Jonathan throughout their childhood, eventually slowly poisoning Jonathan's father. Things become more complicated when Jonathan learns of these plans, and Dio simultaneously learns how to become a vampire. Jonathan sets out to destroy his undying foe.

That's just the first of eight parts to the immense saga of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The series eventually evolved into a multi-generational epic, following the adventures of Jonathan's descendants from the 19th century to the present day. Each part of the saga chronicles the adventures of another descendant of the Joestar bloodline, which spreads all over the world and gets pretty darn confusing. They all have one other thing in common: the main character's name can somehow, someway, be read as JoJo.

Welp, a classic, and an awesome one at that. JJBA's quite well known for its unusual art style, creative battles, POSES, its overly dramatic nature, and the amount of FABULOUSNESS in it. There's an anime adaption that is currently on Part 2, and hopefully won't stop at that.
