The end of the year is near, and it is time to prove which dorm is superior. Here in boulder we have the best, and along with that it is our chance to prove that the best teams are made in anarchy.

Now skipping the obligatory rp-like introduction, if you are familiar with the HPX format, which most of you should be, this is just a 3-way HPX (3 teams instead of 2) with the added rule of a player from the team losing a life if no one from the team has played within 48 hours to make sure they won't just sit back until the other sides are eliminated.

If you don't know what HPX is don't bother looking it up before looking up this tournament, too roundabout, read the rules of this tournament instead. To be short, we form a team and then we challenge any member of the other 2 teams. When you lose you lose a life, when you lose again you are eliminated and out. The tournament is over when only 1 dorm team has players left and both other teams are eliminated.

Ordinary Rules:
• Advanced Format will be used.
• Any player of the team may challenge or be challenged by any player from any of the other 2 dorm teams once the tournament starts.
• There are no banned decks. Use nails and jaws if you must to ensure victory.
• Deck changing is forbidden.
• Only match duels will be accepted.
• To have your duel confirmed, post it in the Duel Arena and paste the link in the Tournament Log topic. A staff member will update your status after looking at it.
• You may refuse a challenge if you're unable to duel, but stalling won't be tolerated.
• If you or your opponent has to go during a duel that is already in progress neither player may challenge anyone else until they finish their pending match. This rule only applies to matches that are already in progress. It does not apply to matches that have not yet begun.

Special Rules:
• When signing up, you must include your DN username and timezone specifications.
• Up to six duelists may enter.
• After all six contestants are chosen, the dorm will decide on who should be the leader in order to coordinate the war team. How this is carried out is to be discussed with the members of the dorm itself, but if needed, you may ask for assistance from the staff.
• Each participant will be given two hearts. After losing, you lose one heart from the two you have. After you lose two hearts, you are out.
• If you have been defeated once in a match (first duel in an ongoing match does not count) already, you may be able to change your deck afterward, but only if you lose.
• If a team does not duel within 48 hours, one player on that team will lose one heart (decided by team).
• You may substitute any member on your team if he/she is unable to duel. This must be confirmed by the leader, the duelist to be replaced, and the substitute. The substitute will carry on with the same amount of hearts and time left to finish a duel for the player subbed out. You must call a staff member in order to substitute a member. Remember that a player that has been subbed out once already can still be subbed in again at any time.
• If you have lost one heart out of the two you hold, and you have been subbed out, you cannot be subbed back in to replace another member who has two hearts.

Both to the EP side for kiryu and Raye on the BC side, the rules state up to six players, we can raise it but only in the case LL gets another member since we cant force them to get more activity than is initially required.

It's a dorm tournament, dorm reason is a perfectly valid one.

You cannot have multiple accounts by WDA rules either.

And why are you arguing about something like that, would any tau allow you to be in both teams in a war?
