Introduction to Achievements Empty

The focus of the new system is Achievement Points as they are your access to different Titles.

All Achievements, except from those that are under Repeatable, will only be awarded once to each member no matter how many times they accomplish them.

Repeatable achievements can be accomplished any number of times but reset every time they are achieved (For example, achievement D1 is repeatable and needs you to get 25 rank points. First time you get 25 Rank Points you get 1 AP. You need to get 25 more than that, meaning going to 50, to be able to get the achievement again for 1 more AP).

All Achievements start counting from when they are posted. For example, the repeatable achievement that requires 250 posts will only count the posts from the moment it is posted. So I who have 2195 posts can't claim to get the award for accomplishing the achievement 8 times, but instead, once I hit 2445 posts I can provide a screenshot from when I had 2195 posts and claim the achievement for getting 250 posts.

Be sure to post relevant proof when claiming an achievement, usually on Duel Achievements that means screenshooting it and having the opponent confirm. Also remember that all Duel Achievements must be done with the Watch option on DN active and without password. There is no way to confirm that unless someone tries of course, but if it is found to be locked the achievement doesn't count.

For certain repeatable achievements there may be seperate topics with their own instructions. For example for the repeatable achievement which requires 250 posts there will be such a topic.

No Duel Achievement is valid if there was any illegal play involved for obvious reasons, so for some of the more tedious achievements you or your opponent may be asked for how the play happened.

It should go without saying as well that boosting is not allowed, neither in forum nor duel achievements. That means you are not to keep passing your turn so that your opponent will set up his duel achievement. Play normally. To avoid that try not to announce that you are going for an achievement every time before the game.

Lastly, there is another class of achievements which are secret, and known only to those with admin powers (of course those who know about them can't be involved in accomplishing said achievements). Those can only be accomplished once and by one member. Once a member gets that achievement no one else can get it. But whether or not someone gets it is entirelly based on chance obviously.
