Welcome to the Firefight! (Please READ)

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! This is WDA's newest dueling event as well as a challenge for any daring soul who dares to sign up and be the ultimate survivor! I am proud to present to you the Firefight.

• 1-2 nominees will be chosen as the active participants during a sign-up session.
  
  
  -If in any case the firefight contestant(s) are eliminated, those who signed up during the sign-up session will have another chance at being selected for the Firefight and the week will be reset until all the participants are either eliminated or the event is cancelled.
  
  -Pairs may not challenge one another. It is advised that the pairs discuss strategies to survive the week.
  
  
  
• The participants will have to challenge or be challenged by any duelist at this academy. You are required to have at least 1 match per day (best 2 out of 3, Open match.) Rank point awards will still be distributed as usual.
  
  
  -Each person that challenges the participants may only challenge (or be challenged by the participants) once and one time only throughout the Firefight.
  
  -If the participants are caught in the act of cheating, then they will be dropped out of the Firefight and warned by the staff.
  
  -If a person challenges one of the contestants to a match, the contestant MUST accept by any means possible! If the contestant is caught continuously dodging challenges, then the contestant will be immediately eliminated from the Firefight and will be warned by a staff member for sabotaging an event.
  
  
  
• The participants are not allowed to switch their main decks. Changing the side deck is allowed at any given time, except during a duel with a challenger.
  
  
• The policies for winning a match remain the same. Winner of the match makes a confirmation thread, states what decks were used, the score of the match, confrimation from the losing party and from mod.
  
  
• As soon as one of the participants loses their match, they are permanently eliminated from the Firefight. Their awards will be distributed based on how long they survive.
  -The participants may drop out of the Firefight out of their own will. If they do not play a single match as required, they will be dropped out of the Firefight.
• Each Firefight will last up to 7 days (a whole week.)
  

The prizes that will be awarded will be userbars depending on the day you are eliminated. If you quit the Firefight you will get a special userbar that marks your shamefulness. Upon completion of the week, the participants will receive a custom title that they can flash around until the next Firefight begins. If by any chance that a pair signed up for the Firefight and in the case that one of the contestants of the original set-up is eliminated before the end of the 7th day, the eliminated contestant will continue to receive their rewards based on the day they were eliminated.

I also ask of you guys to take this seriously. It has been awfully discouraging for event holders at this place to manage you mostly because of the laziness and dishonest methods you use when participating in things. We are all very aware of the division of skill that we have here and it is most certainly clear that you guys will take the easy way out if possible. Please play fairly and honestly. Challenge yourselves! This is the time to prove me wrong and show any other future event holder that it is worth our efforts to make these things for you all. If you know you do not have the time to sign up, then don't. Please be sure that this will be a weekly thing and it will be greatly appreciated for your sportsmanship.

HELLO! THE FIREFIGHT HAS BEGUN! Our first survivor is Alucard Knight!! His bounty is worth 1 AP! So step right up and be sure to keep yer eyes peeled wide open for him!

We did stir in quite the crowd regardless of the event ending so shortly. I am proud to say that the Firefight Season 1 is over. Great job Bakura, better luck next time! Bakura will be receiving a shameful userbar that you will see shortly while Joker as well recieves a userbar for slaying Bakura!

Fila had a good role, most wins ever so far with 2 wins and lost to RD. RD will now go to Firefight Achievements to go see what achievements he has achieved and to go claim them. To keep this event from stalling I have decided to take another chance and continue the event. I have decided to bring up the next person in line which was "Joker" to begin with. Good luck and have fun.

So Joker immediately lost to DF. DF go grab your achievement as a bounty hunter. Next in the list is DF. DF decides to pair up with Al. Gl/hf guys.

UPDATE: DF lost to JJ. DF is out of the firefight and Al continues onto Day 2. Congrats Al!

We finally have our first winner: MangArmand (aka Kitsune no Shonen) ! After using Hieratic OTK, he has went through the firefight undefeated and has officially been claimed our first Ultimate Survivor! Congragulations Kitsune! You are awarded a custom title that will go on your profile and you will carry around that title until the next Ultimate Survivor is crowned!
