WDA's Rank 1 & 2 Tour

First topic message reminder :

The tournament that died on the move is back, however since many of the participants do not have a WDA account I'll be opening registrations anew.

This is a rank 1 and 2 tour, ANY rank 1 or 2 player may register

The tournament format however is undecided until registrations close and we see how many we have in. What is for sure is that it will be a regular advanced format tournament, no weird decks, no deckbans.

As a sidenote, if the tournament format is the same as last time, since I am too lazy to make tables, the matchups won't be random but the old ones will keep their places and the rest who weren't here before will be first come first served.

If you don't get it it's ok, it's not that important, just saying about how the match-ups will be, you don't have to worry about it.

Anyways, I encourage all rank 1 and 2 players to join so we can have a good tournament. If you were already registered please register again, I have to be sure. Registrations are open.

So, here's how this tournament goes guys
There are 2 seperate tours for both ranks 1 and 2
First place of each one gets 200, second 100, third 50 in each of both tours
Then the winners from both the tours (best of rank 1 and best of rank 2) will duel for their rank. And exactly like last time, the winner gets
NOTHING
however, if you win this final match, everyone in the rank's tour from which you came from that completed a match, except you, will get 50 additional credits. So second would get 100 + 50 + the matches he did, third would get 50 + 50 + the matches he did and everyone else, assuming they didn't go inactive and completed at least one match, whether they won or lost, will get 50 credits each if you win. If you don't they get nothing extra, the other rank's tour gets it.

So let's say for example Caralove (rank 1) and Digidigi (rank 2) play in the finals. If digidigi wins every rank 2, except digidigi, that completed at least one match will get 50 credits in addition to what they won themselves.


There are no deckbans, use the advanced format, matches are first to win 2 duels, like locals there is no draw, if you tie in a duel keep playing until one of 2 players has 2 duel wins. Don't ask me about it in person, it's simple to get, if you don't read it until you do.
Deck changing between rounds is allowed
Siding is allowed
All cards on dueling network are allowed while applying the advanced format restrictions (no banned cards ofc, advanced format doesnt allow them)

The tournament format is single elimination matches,

All matches are WDA official matches, post in the duel area, confirm and post the link here. The tournament starts as of now, you can go ahead, find your opponent and do the match. If a participant is inactive I will deal with it. Just to be safe blacklist applies but I will try to be as lenient as possible when applying a blacklist punishment, don't take advantage of it though. Deadline is in 7 days from this post, let's say midnight of July 13 to July 14, wda time.

Is this tourney going ot keep going because it is passed monday so shouldnt there be some dqs or do i have the wrong date

Al said that because most ppl,had issues to get their duels made,he was going to extend the deadline to this weekend (23/24 of july) ,i think that post in on the previous page(5)

Nobody and dragonclaw: Deadline is obviously up (it was the monday that passed) so one of you is dq'd. Nobody, you were here for the least time for the round so I find it fair that claw is the one who advances. However, as you did show up you will not be blacklisted and you will have a shot for the bronze match for honor and stuff.

Suamae and fila: Is suamae even alive? Anyways, he isn't here as far as I know, I will consider blacklisting but nothing is for sure, this tournament was dragged on so probably there won't be any, if it had moved faster he'd be here to play. That being said fila advances.

Raye: I have lost my teleportation powers so I cannot magically appear, I can't do what I can't do, I am here now so I am moving this on, be patient and understanding.

The other matches have been updated, get on with the semi-finals of the seperate tours.

i know i was getting a little impatient because im the only in the finals of rank 2. I know u have een awhile or wherever u r so i wont rush. Since aka afces turtle u should expect the duel to be doen by Friday because i see turtle and filanchi on at the same time nearly every day

For rank 2 first is raye and will be in the final match, second is Turtle, Joker and Fila please duel for third. For rank 1, we are waiting on the Amell vs Bakura, I cant see Amell around match but it seems he'd get his duels done if needed, if that isn't the case and bakura can't contact him post here about it.

I'm trying to find bakura too, but it seems our active times are pretty different.

pm each other with a hamachi where you can be contacted, if you don't have it install it, and work out a time. As things are I am setting the deadline to 72 hours from now. Since it seems you can both be here if the deadline passes I'm flipping a coin.

That's a problem o.o my hamachi is haywire so I can't use it .-. But I'm on most of the time along as hes not on like at 5 am the. I should be able to get something set up

Ok Bakura and Amell i am getting tired of this waiting u guys are goign to have to give up something in order to be on at the same time but i am tired of waiting this whole thing about u guys cant get on at the same time has gone far enough. Time for talk has ended now u guys need to get on at the same time, no more buts or excuses and if u 2 are trying to the best of ur abilities u would have done it by now

dude chill man -.- what u want us to do wake up at 5am to do a duel? I can stay up late but thats just ridiculous. We will figure something out do don't start Doin a hissy fit. I do have real problems that can happen to anyone so why don't u just wait .-. God

Raye, I have set a deadline, that is 72 hours after that post. Said post says it was posted yesterday for me now, I won't bother to count hours but I am pretty certain it hasn't been 72 of them. I am trying to have things move smoothly, be patient for the deadline I have set and don't spam the topic. Next unneccessary post will cause the topic to be cleaned.
