how did you come to this academy?


for me it went a little liek this

my original academy SDA was dieing our leader invited some random loser named digidigi to help us i didnt rly know her so i didnt talk to her much and kinda ignore her. At some point the people of sda didnt like digis ideas and when she said they were better for sda she was banned. Some people tried to bring her back but it didnt happen. Eventually someone from sda made their own academy and it was active as ever. But people wanted SDA back and since at this time digi did not like the people from SDA and i never rly talked to her i was forced to talk to her and try to get her to help us. I did talk to her the more i realized that her idea was right and SDA was wrong. And then she told me to join here i joined but i wasnt that active for the fact that SDA came back and i was busy with that. At some point everyone could kinda tell SDA was dieing but no one said anything during this time i started talking to that random digidigi loser from before and i guess we became pretty good friends. One day, i was sick and tired of SDA and left and became more active here. And well i guess thats the real start.

A few years ago, I used to be part of Ultimate Duel Academy. The owner and self appointed Head Admin (two different people) decided to ban Digi from UDA unfairly, out of rage, I stood up for her and left on my own account to follow Digi here. So, I'll say Digi was the one who brought me here.

Was that when I got pissed and sent someone to delete everything on the academy? I was admin when digi got banned :P

Think back in like... 2008-2009? Back when this was a TWA before things happened, it was in it's "beta stages" were people were still working on setting up opening tournaments and graphics for the site. It was I think DanceJonDance who was advertising the opening tournament on KCVDS and my friend saw it. He said we should join it. Neither of us ever did and he didn't stick around for more then a week really, but I've just been coming back ever since for some reason...

It's really funny looking at were things have gone, how much has changed and how some embodiment of this place still exists, because back then there was no Digidigi, Minako, Al-Bhed or I still dunno who does what were nowadays but yea. I think the only name I remember back then that's actually still around is Kimo Force... which used to be something else... it was like... Kimo... something else... god that was a long time ago.

i came here cuz i thought people would like me here, guess i was wrong ;o

I came here when I felt nostalgic about YGO during my last years of High School.

Initially, I was a player in RL. Won a few regionals, never touched nationals. I quit the game around 2009 to get my grades back up after they were slipping due to the card game.

I still loved the game, so I decided to play online using KCVDS.

From there, I met Pegasus and recruited me into TWA as a Shining Blue.

My old alias was Kamikaze-dono.

Later went on to become a Tester for the Academy and participated in a lot of stuff. Great times.

I went back into studies and was inactive for a very long time.

When I came back, TWA had apparently moved and I followed it here.

Went inactive yet again for the same reason, and here I am, posting my story.
