The Ocean Floor Explorer

The harbour, a usually quiet place, kept afloat many small fishing vessels, and the usual high-flier of the dock was a medium-sized yacht owned by a wealthy family living in a large house on top of a hill near the harbour town.

However, this day, a huge, pearl-white hull dominated the attention of passers-by. The gargantuan cruiser was pristine, with a long streak of blue, lining the upper deck. Hundreds of windows bedded themselves in the ship's bodies, offering poor fishermen and members of public an enticing glance at a life of luxury. A large metal staircase attached itself to a walkway, where guards wearing smart blue uniforms, complete with white officer's hat and gloves, stood watch over the gangway, and half a dozen more stood around the boat itself. The cruiser had, painted in large letters across its bow;

The Ocean Floor Explorer

A sign posted next to the ship asked for all duelists to keep their passes ready, to board the ship, and to settle down in their given rooms quickly: they would be leaving in just a few days. The duelists were to be fully accommodated, from boarding to departure and eventually to arrival.

The invitations to Duelist Empire, a large island owned entirely by one mysterious man, had been received by many duelists, but all of them were well-known to the world. It was rumored that these duelists were hand picked by the owner of the island, a huge dueling enthusiast, for a massive event that would take place on the whole of the island itself. Boarding passes had already been handed out to all duelists participating in the event, and enclosed with those had been the time of boarding and departure.

In front of the vessel, the captain conversed leisurely with a member of the harbour administration, who was obviously in awe of the ship.

"So Captain... Papandreou, was it? Yes... I notice that the ship is an S-Class Cruiser, capable of travelling at up to 35 knots. A tour one of your fine young men gave me revealed that the luxury is so great, it even has on-board dueling facilities!"
The captain chuckled "Yes, my friend, yes it does."
"But I have one question, Captain."
"Oh?"
"Why is it named The Ocean Floor Explorer? As far as I can tell, it's no submarine."
The captain gave a short, sharp bark of laughter . "It is an ironic name", he politely responded, "The man who named it recognised that everything must eventually sink, and so he named this fine vessel after the one thing he knew it would, at some point, do."
The man laughed heartily. "I do hope it doesn't sink any time soon!"
"Oh, we'll see about that", Captain Papandreou replied with a face of stone, "we'll see about that indeed."

Sailing

If you weren't to look at the water below it you'd think this ship were standing still on the unchanging scenery of the open sea, a cruiser of its class shows no disturbance as it speeds along the ocean, even as it goes at massive speed , easily surpassing common transport ships, sea travel for the normal men and women.

Enjoying the abnormal serenity of their vessel, the chosen duelists, the seekers of adventure, almost waste the serenity and elegance as they spend that precious time of peace as they will before reaching their destination.

Zero was geeting up,he had bumped onto someone
"uh,forgive me,i wasn't paying attention,are you alright?"-said Zero,as he was helping the girl to stand up
"So...you come from the ocean floor explorer?oh yeah,a little rude of my part,first than anything,my name is Rei Hitenshi,but people call me Zero,what's your name?"

"ok,Angela,pretty name by the way,nice to meet ya,and i actually care,what did happened there?,i mean,something must have to been going really bad if all the paseengers are being transfered to this ship?"
Asked Zero,as he was intrigued about what really hapened

Guys, this topic is for the Ocean Floor Explorer, it goes up to the lifeboats around it but that's it, the St. Joan is a different thing. We are still on this for people to live the Ocean Floor Explorer and not die with it, but I suspect the story will continue on a different topic, so if you want to do anything on the St. Joan other than boarding it, wait for the appropriate topic to appear.

"Wow,there is still people leaving the Ocean Floor Explorer?,they are sure slow,they better hurry up or they will sink"

"Well,nothing much has happened,or at least,that could be noticed,i was most of the trip on my room,since that was the condition i was given"-Explained Zero
"I woke up late and as a consecuense,i mised the Ocean Floor Exploerer,when i arrived at the port,the ship was away from the coast,so there was no way i could aboard it,frustrated ii stranded through the post for a while,then i saw some men rushing to the St. Joan,when i head they were going to catch up to the Ocean Floor Explorer,i asked them to let me go with them,after a little argue i got permission...as long as i would not be wandering through the deck,i managed to sneak out a little while ago,and what would be my surprise to hear the ship i was supposed to "catch" was sinking,and all passengers from there were to be transfered to the St. Joan"
Then Zero started thinking about the situation
"I just keep wondering,why would someone attack a ship full of duelists?"

I appreciate how you don't give a fuck, I really do, but next time you get a strike.

"Oh, look, the sky is blue. I HAVE TO POST IT!"

"LAND HO!", an excited boy cried, as the cruise liner ploughed through the sea towards a huge landscape on the horizon. The green hulk loomed at the end of the ship's vision, yet the only thing the passengers could make out at the moment was a large city.

Crowds of faceless people moved to the front of the ship to get a better look at the landmass, as a tannoy speaker system once again boomed into life.

"Attention Passengers, we are approaching Duelist Empire. If you will look towards the horizon at the front of the ship, you will be able to see its Central District. Duelist Empire has many different districts and is constantly changing, all to suit the desires of its residents.
We will be arriving at the Central District's dock, Kuriboh Docks, shortly.

A small welcome party will be held inside the Central District's most renowned Emperor's house. This man funded the journey and the games and all invitations were sent from him, personally. Ship staff will escort you there when we arrive. Take this opportunity to meet the person who funded this tournament, and to get to know other duelists as well."

A murmur of excitement passed through the passengers as people returned to their cabins to collect their things.

(This means I'm writing up everything now and will post them in a bit. Sorry about how late this is; I've had exams all week and was out on friday to celebrate the end of exams for people who don't do physics. Which I don't.
Anyway I should have everything written up today, tomorrow at the latest. Keep posting, keep the RP going~.)

The ship created a loud thump as its hull hit the deck, and the passengers crowded on the deck as crew members bridged the gap and the captains of both the Ocean Floor Explorer and St. Joan wished the duelists farewell.
Members of the ship's crew, dressed in casual party clothes, shepherded passengers to the mayor's house, pointing out attractions and important points along the way.
