| As many of you know, I've recently started on the first draft of The Ripper Puzzle. The Ripper Puzzle itself is a complicated puzzle that includes numbers and letters that give clues to the FBI to the Ripper's location, in which most of them are fake and just bullshit, used to mess with the heads of the FBI. For the puzzle, I've decided on the following methods, or clues, in which the Ripper leaves on his victims.
Carved or marked numbers on the body (for example, II, two, or 2)
Placing watch on victim (for example, leaving the time as 1:01:34)
Playing cards (for example, Ace of Hearts or 10 of Spades)
Phone numbers (for example, Adding digits on a phone to make a new digit)
Symbol Representation (For example, A represents 1, B represents 2, etc)
Mirrored Calculator (For example, 1, 2, and 3 were actually 7, 8, and 9)
The final one I will leave out, due to it being the correct code for the FBI to locate the Ripper.

Now if you're going to come up with a good puzzle, have those in mind:
- Make a few pieces lead to lethal death traps which allow the Ripper to get rid of a few agents. Give the Ripper a reason to want to play this game with the FBI.
- You might want to leave at least one difficult portion of the clue that the agents solve incorrectly, and only look back to that part of the clue again after they've given hope in looking for the Ripper since that solving that piece of the puzzle wrong leads to a dead end.
I can't think of anything good right now since I haven't really read both books yet | |

| @ Ace: Retarded. Next.
@ Kimo: The Ripper knows that the FBI are already after him. He challenges them directly, making them come to him. As for your next point, I already have that planned out. Towards the end of the book, Crystal, frustrated over the fake clues, accidentally solves the correct one (It is impossible to solve without all of the planned murders carried out).
@ Fish: I have all methods of death figured out. I am looking for puzzles.

| How about leaving things like tiny bits of plants or weeds, that only grow in certain areas?
It would lead the FBI to those places, where his next piece of the puzzle would be. | |

| Seeing as it's based in L.A., I don't think that will work. It's a good idea, but I plan on the FBI already analyzing that aspect.
