2012 Timeline

The world is ending soon (or not.) What better than to catch up on some good ol' WDA memories?

Just like this previous timeline, we're going to be talking about funny moments or just anything that you can remember that happened here, the chat, in private with any member, even talk about stuff from IRL.

I'll start by remembering how we all planned to log-off WDA whenever Gareth came on after bracing ourselves for his ban to expire (some people followed through with it.)

I published my second book in July. Been working on book three.

I'll think on what else I could possibly give a shit about.

Started playing a lot of LoL and lost even more sleep than last year.

I joined, and I found 2 things

1: the 1st girl I have no sexual attraction to
2: the 1st troll that is tolerable, and as such, I deem this place, the cave of noble troll j.j. knight (if such a statement is allowed)

I quit DN as admin, then DN itself.

I joined WDA, DA and a bunch of academies I can't remember (be glad I stayed here for longer than anywhere else lol).

*points at signature*

I've made some friends on here... I think.

I started off with learning HTML, Javascript and CSS.

I got my first ever F on an exam.

And and and

Oh yeah, Irate died.

I thought of posing some bs, but I'll take this thread seriously...

(*)My internet life in the year 2012:

- I was trying to get back in the game. I started playing again in 2011... may, I think... something like that. From the start at 2012 my goal was to make myself a known player once again.
- I began to be more active here, at WDA, probably from the start of 2012. The main reason for that is cause of my crush on DigiDigi - which is a well known fact to everyone at WDA.
- I won a big amount of events here, participated in everything I could - from Lives to Infection seasons, which actually I have won, twice - paired with KillerBee.
- I was a part of many teams in DNF. Finally I joined the team of EX, this format. I began learning more rulings - really upgraded my whole game performance and my style of playing.
- At the start of 2012 was like the year of Rabbit for me, as I mainly played Dino Rabbit variants, which I was very good at. From the start of the new format (Septembers) everything change, my style of playing went from: "anti-meta control" to more like "heavy meta". As at the end of March's banlist I wasn't pleased at what I have accomplished so far. I changed my style of playing and began to train with the so called "broken" decks the game. As I played a lot with the ever so popular deck from last format - Wind-up, I began to really enjoy it, since it somehow forced me to think more on my plays and on what I should do in the current situation that I was in. That is were I started loving the deck very much, to the point that it's now my main deck to play.
- At the end of the year I started being more troll-ish and asshole-ish, tho I have been keeping that away from WDA, but you can look at other community sites like DuelingCity or like the pirate said - DA.

Overall it was a good year for my internet life, I'm close to reaching my last years goal. As of now I'm a well known player to the DN community, one of the pro's if you wish. I plan to continue evolving my skills in the game, so when it comes to that moment and I retire - I can say "I've left big shoes to fill for the next wave of players."
On a side note, I'm becoming much more lazy at dueling... I can't get to DN's TOP 100 yet, seems that I just can't get myself to duel that much.

Anyway, looking forward to year 2013 (if we don't die that is...)

-Made some friends on wda and irl
-This year was the first time I loved someone that wasn't family(my ex gf)
-I discarded my faith in god and became an atheist
-Same as the years before I worked hard in making myself a more well rounded individual
-Won the thanksgiving football tournament with my school and I was awarded top scorer of the tournament.

Stopped playing Yugioh.
Starting playing League of Legends.

Real Life:

I was in a car accident in January, and was taken to the hopsital for a broken hip and nearly severed artery that would have claimed my life if it had bursted. I had to drop out of college and was forced into bedrest for four months. However, my then roommate at the time neglected to take care of me. I drank water from a used Sunny D carton and I spent all the money I had saved up on food catering (I was not fed) and most of the rent because my roommate at the time would not work. He brought in people I did not trust and moved them in without my consent. I moved out in April and moved in with my current roommate, Dustin. We moved into our current place in August.

I started dating a girl named Alyssa in Feburary. We've been together since then. She took care of me during my injuries.

I went back to work in May when I was cleared of my injuries. I am one of the head cooks at Huhot.

I also went back to college and I'm about to graduate with an AA.

I published the second book of my series, Trails of Blood, on my girlfriend's 20th birthday. Currently working on The Ripper Puzzle, which I plan to release in 2013.


Online Life:

Currently mod the Pokemon Section. I made some good friends this year. Mau5 is probably my favorite besides Digi and Armand. I am also proud of Nour for her maturity and common sense. Kimo and I have always been buds since TWA. UP is also a close friend. I love to tease Supa and Leo, but I do respect them. Some people, like Alba, get on my nerves.

I love to tease Keimi sexually. I had a crush on Seluna for a while, before dating my girlfriend.
