Mayor's Mansion

Subject: Mayor's Mansion Tue Jan 31, 2012 7:41 am

To say the least, this mansion was huge.

It was within a block of other huge mansions for other important people within the Central District, yet it was twice as big as any other houses within sight. The front door stood open with two bouncers creating a passageway effect, a line forming across the grass. However, a straight line in stood clear for any duelists who were specially invited and one of the guards held a clipboard to check incoming people off.

Inside, a bar was set up and people with drinks milled around to softly playing music, yet above the sounds of voices, only the bass could be heard.

A banner hung loosely across the house, stating "WELCOME ALL DUELISTS!"

The ship's staff led all duelists from teh ship directly here, so that they could introduce themselves to eachother further, duel, and generally relax after the stress of being on the media's latest titanic. There was even an official tournament registry official working in an inbuilt office ready to take people's deck changes.

(This is the end of the ship arc. Soon, the party will end and all the areas will open for your use. So post here, keep teh RP active. Core was escorted off the ship. "Yes! Finally! We're off that stuuuuppid voyage! Land ho! I undoubtedly cannot express my joy right now!" Core smiled. "Now, I'm eager to duel!" He looked around. "I'm a idiot." He facepalmed himself. 'I'll just go self-shun myself at a park bench, or something. I'm acting as stupid as a common internet failtroll. He looked around. 'Y'know, I'll just find a place to rest. Maybe they supplied us with apartments? Or cottages. I'll just look around the island, or perhaps just stay in this area. Yes, that would be a good idea.'

Thank God that's over. What more could have happened. Chad thought. He walked off the boat, and was staring at the large buildings surrounding him.This was not what I was expecting. At all.He walked around slowly, trying his best to memorize the area. He only had the area ge was in, and was getting excited to see the rest. Perhaps I could go find a place to rest, or maybe I should wait here for somebody I know. Chad layed back against a wall, paying attention to all of the passerby's.

Heero gets out of the boats infirmary and arrives at the building when someone with a brown coat and a hat to match stopped him.
"Are you Hunter Riser?"
"Yes I am, why ask?"
"Package from your father"
"The old man? Probably nothing important"
Heero takes the package and throws it into his bag without a second thought of it and moved on with the rest of the people. Another guy stopped him and asked for his name after giving his name as Heero he was denied.
"Here's my duelist invite"
Heero then noticed it didn't say Heero Riser, it said Hunter.
"Hunter Riser? As we have confirmation you are Hunter Riser we can let you in, Enjoy yourself."
Heero shuffled in with the rest of the people

From this point on in the RP, i'm no longer going to address my character as Heero. From this point on it'll be Hunter but others can still use Heero if they like.

Lupe was already in the party, he looked at the people from the ship coming in, Lupe thought to himself: ''I cant really talk to these people...nah what am I thinking I'll go say hello to one of 'em. Might make more friends!'' Lupe walked towards Core and Hunter and introduced himself, and said, '' Yo, I'm Lupe, you guys came from that ship? Anyways nice to meet ya, hope we meet soon. What are your names? ''

Finally off the boat Angela Thought Now I can find more people to duel! She thought while punching the air like a boxer, in a cute way. And the best part is I'll get to know more people.. Huh, what's better, meeting people or dueling.. That's the hardest choice I ever thought of. She thought while walking inside the Mansion/Building But where's Ness.. She looked back for a minute, then continued walking.

I'm sorta clueless around here.. She thought while walking near Core, Hunter, and a group of people which included someone wearing headphones and a hoodie that say "L". Angela started whispering/talkingto herself quietly I guess I have a lot to think about.. Hmm.. Speaking of which, maybe I should add an extra Gemini Spark.. And Sole-- Angela bumped into the person wearing "L" -mns.. It wasn't effective because she was walking slowly. Angela stopped talking quietly Sorry about that, mister! Angela took her deck out of her duel disk and started doing some adjustments to the deck, hiding her cards from her friends&others while doing it. {still in front of them}

Sentan got off the boat and followed everybody else to the mayors mansion. When he got there he whent straight towards the bar and grabbed a drink. He sat down on a table and layed his deck on it. He whent over all the cards, checking non had been wrecked. luckily non had. He put it away and put his head back, thinking........

"who the hell was that on the boat. tesla...... well hopefully that will be the last we see of him." He looked around , saw a few familiar faces. Angela, hunter, the guy that stuttered more than anybody sentan had known.

"welp well everybody is still getting here ill just lay back and close my eyes."

he did exactly that.

Lupe was talking to Core and Hunter, but then he bumped into a girl named Angela and she apologized, so did Lupe. "Oh it's no problem I'm sorry for standing in your way xD.'' Then she continued walking and saw her pulling out her deck and adjusting it. Lupe whispered to himself. ''Quite the quite girl is she.''

Angela was done adjusting her deck while her duel disk wasn't activated. She walked back to Core, Hunter, and ?? So, what do you all plan to do? I'm sorta clueless. Hey Lupe~ And no, I'm not showing off. Angela looked at her duel disk while talking I don't know, I just always keep it on, there's just 2 things I love. Dueling, and meeting other people. Angela stopped looking at her duel disk. I'm not trying to show off, and I'm not trying to challenge you. Angela looked at her duel disk for a brief second then back. Although, if you want to duel.. Angela Smiled I'll understand if you say no.

That was real fun Angela, cool meeting you and dueling you, we should duel some other time! Lupe turned off his duel disk. Checking if his Ice Barriers have anything wrong with it. And will fix it soon. Well Angela, I think I'm going to meet some new people and make some new friends! Atleast I started already with one ^^. Oh and enjoy the party here.

Zero started looking around,the party was getting crowded already,then he pulled from his belt his Gemini deck,from it,dark valkyrie was on the front
-It's has been a while since i left home,huh?...i miss home,but,also i want to become a better duelist,so i have to keep strong on this-Zero started walking,looking at all of the people on the party,there was a duel finishing far on the other side of the room,a guy who went straight to the bar

I have a policy when it comes to exiting means of mass transportation. If you are not in a hurry, wait inside until most people exit. And indeed I am not in a hurry, my very limited luggage is with me and I am certain I do not have any urgent appointments on Duelist Empire, so the time of the great rush is best spent relaxing. That also means I exited long after the other excited duelists but such a thing is not important. At this point I just have to sit around and wait to see what is going on with this event. I follow the directions into the hall of the mayor's mansion, sit at the bar and get just a beer to drink.

Chad was watching Angela duel. After the duel, he decided to congratulate Angela. Maybe I can kill time until this tournament starts. He walked up to Angela and said "G-good job...." He turned to Zero and tried to make a good introduction. "I'm Ch-Chad...."Dammit, now he'll tease me for studdering my name

Angela was standing somewhere near Zero where she was standing just looking where to go, she heard Kenzo and said Oh, hey, Kenzo. Yeah I'm doing just fine, thanks. Angela turned to Zero, in which she now knows his name because he was talking to Kenzo Rei Hitenshi, and Zero? I like your names.. Hi, my name is Angela, Angela Kaelem! She said.

Hunter took a seat at a table nobody else was at and pulled out the box he had got.
What did dad send this time....
Hunter pulls out a note and reads is.
So he sent me a deck and a bracelet.
Pulls out the bracelet. It was a flat silver bracelet about 2 inches in length, had 3 random shaped indents, and had a dragon engraving on it.
Well this is new.
Heero goes through the deck and finds the deck. He pulls out a couple of cards and was suddenly refilled with hope and energy. He pulls out the rest of the deck and the deckbox that was inside and clips the deck to his belt.
I'm ready, time to get serious.
