Mayor's Mansion

Subject: Mayor's Mansion Tue Jan 31, 2012 7:41 am

First topic message reminder :

To say the least, this mansion was huge.

It was within a block of other huge mansions for other important people within the Central District, yet it was twice as big as any other houses within sight. The front door stood open with two bouncers creating a passageway effect, a line forming across the grass. However, a straight line in stood clear for any duelists who were specially invited and one of the guards held a clipboard to check incoming people off.

Inside, a bar was set up and people with drinks milled around to softly playing music, yet above the sounds of voices, only the bass could be heard.

A banner hung loosely across the house, stating "WELCOME ALL DUELISTS!"

The ship's staff led all duelists from teh ship directly here, so that they could introduce themselves to eachother further, duel, and generally relax after the stress of being on the media's latest titanic. There was even an official tournament registry official working in an inbuilt office ready to take people's deck changes.

(This is the end of the ship arc. Soon, the party will end and all the areas will open for your use. So post here, keep teh RP active. If you want to change and archetypes you may have, any decks, now is the time to PM me about it. Fly free, my children. Post and socialise and duel and I promise you will not be bored.)

Little Angela looked around, bored. Jee, sorta boring in here, especially when I'm alone. Angela was went to the bar, sat down, and did nothing. After a little while she stood up and yelled Hey, anyone here wanna duel me!?

The Zero spotted Angela near the bar,he wasn´t all the way there when he heard her say
"Hey, anyone here wanna duel me!?"
-Are you already so eager to duel?,can't blame you at all-
Then Zero took a seat next to Angela
-Hey,root beer here please-

Huh... so boring... I thought it was some sort of tournament but with the ship and the waiting I am starting to feel they just want to keep humans around...

I approached him.

A person approaches from below my field of vision...

"Haha, wasn't sure you had survived that one, apparently it wasn't a good day for little people I heard. So, what's up?-"
Oh, wait, I just laughed while mentioning the death of children. I quickly survey my surroundings to make sure their families etc. aren't coming to get me. Well, when I think about it again, they wouldn't be at a party, now would they.
Hmm, black humour reminds me, I haven't done a single match since I boarded that ship, yeah...
"Tell you what, before you answer, how about we play a game?"

The name's Lupe, Lupe Martin. said Lupe to the guy sitting next to him, then he looked back at his root beer and takes another sip. And then does one of those normal refreshing ''Aaah'' after drinking the whole bottle. Lupe turns back to the guy and said. Yo, what's your name. Lupe then realized it was getting really hot in here, and took off his headphones, and then gently removed his hood from the hoodie, revealing his shiny blue hair and placed the headphones back.

After having been released from the boat, just as many other duelist who had been traveling over the water way as well to reach the destination to which they all received invitations to, Loki made his way towards the colossal building in which everyone was gathering for the 'welcoming party' currently taking place. Upon entering through the large doorway, the teenager began to his walk towards the bar, at which a few duelist already took a seating. Loki was dressed in his usual gray hoodie and faded blue-jeans, his shortish ebony hair keep clean yet ruffled for his casual look to be completed. In his ears, a pair of ear-plugs blared music, blocking out the sounds of the room around him.

Loki took a seating in a free seat at the bar's side, place his arms on the bar side as he blinked off towards the options of items to order. "Choices..."

the bar man arrived with sentans coke , sentan thanked him and took a sip, then turned back to lupe.

"my name, is sentan senna, Im from england by the way. Where are you from?."

sentan took another sip then saw angela issue her dueling challange, he thought to himself. "that kid doesnt give up does she."

he tooka another look around the room, it seems he hadnt even scratched the amount of pepole in the tournament, there was still some planning to be done it seems.

Juno rolled his eyes at the little girl's sudden outburst. Can't anybody that came from that damn boat be normal? He dug in his pocket and pulled out a sucker. "Hey, little girl, sit down and chill out. No need to start screaming over a duel."

I'm sorry.. I just reeeeeeeeeeeally want to duel.. But it won't happen again. Sorry if I bothered you! Angela then sat to a different seat at the bar. (Which was near Loki) Angela said Anyone wanna duel? Ugh, who am I kidding...

Cool, nice to meet ya Sentan. Lupe looked at his empty bottle, but was still thirsty, and ordered another root beer. The waiter immediately arrived with his beverage, Lupe opened it and started drinking. When he took a few gulps, he turned to Sentan, I'm from America, so you from England eh, so your english. Lupe then continued drinking his beverage, until he spoke again. Sentan ya think you up for a duel?

Loki turned down the music on his ipod, which was using his hoodie's pocket as a home, just as he was preparing to place his order for a drink. That's when his attention slithered off towards a new duelist to approached the bar close by, her words drawing his ears. Without even bothering to turn her way, he spoke out, "If a duel is what you're looking for, I'd be glad to offer you just that. I need a final game to decide any changes needed in my deck for that tournament coming up."

As he finished his words, he pushed himself up and off the stool, taking his ear plugs from his ears upon doing so, and now turned to face the girl. "Unless of course, you'd like to fetch someone with whom you could win against." He said with a small smirk creasing his lips, giving her a mused wink.

Sentan took a sip of his coke again, and put his deck into his duel disk.

"sure ill duel you, i was getting bord anyway."

He walked untill the were a suitible distance away and switched on his duel disk,

"time to go dude."

Angela was happy and excited to hear that, she quickly stood up Well, what are you waiting for? Angela said in a somewhat silly way. Are you ready or not? She wasn't trying to be mean, she was being silly&cute in a way. Angela was ready to duel, as always. Angela looked at the bar for a second Milkshake please!

Loki smirked as he activated his duel disk and slide his deck into its slot, preparing to play. "Of course I'm ready," He chuckled lightly.

"I must say, that was the first time someone managed to bring my dragons down with such ease. Kudos to you, Miss Angela." He replied as he turned the disk back off and removed the deck, holding it firmly in hand at her next question. "Now, I'm going to register my deck for that tournament coming up. You'll be taking place in it as well, correct?"

Zero had just walked off to the bar not too far away.
"Umm...okay. You know when someone asks a question you expect them to wait for an answer," Jason said to himself.
Jason walked over to the bar also and sat down next to Zero.
"Anywho, the names Jason. Jason Zen."
Jason asked for a glass of water, extra ice, slight lemon juice.
"Well, you know what's the best way to get to know a guy? Duel!"

Yes, I'll be entering the Tournament too. Drinks from shake I personally want to duel everyone before the tournament starts Drinks from shake or at least get to know a bit about them. Angela kept drinking from her Milkshake in the middle of her conversations. Y'know, it's nice to meet people.. Here and there, but sometimes the place can get sorta boring.. Angela looked at the barman Another Milkshake! Because hers was getting somewhat empty. She looked back at Loki Good luck at the tournament. Oh, do you by any chance know when it's going to start, anyway?

'So bored, bored, bored, bored, bored.' Suddenly, he yelled our bored. 'Eep, that slipped out of my mouth. Well, I'm gonna go entertain myself. With 'ye ol' duel monsters! Or Yu-Gi-Oh, what ever people call it.' Core walked to the entrance of the mansion, showed his duelist invite, then slipped inside.
'Whee.'

Core inspected the interior Mayor's Mansion. He was surrounded by duelists. There was only one thing he could do in a time like this. A time that he would never waste...

"DOES ANYONE WANNA DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL?!", he shouted.

"I look forward to facing you again then, I'm sure it'll be the finals match. As for wanting to duel everyone, that's not the best idea. while you do find out about their playing style and deck types, they all also get info on you. If you decide to play more people before the tourney, make sure to not to give off your biggest plays and strengths." Loki said as he tucked his deck away into his black deck box at his waist.
"As for when it starts, I have no clue. Sometime soon, I'm sure. But.." He cut off as he noted her ordering another milkshake. "Try not to drink too many of those before they do happen to start. The last thing you'd want is to feel nauseous in a tournament." A light laugh sounded within his voice upon speaking his final words, "You'd be known as the Amazing Puking Duelist, A.P.D. for short."

I don't mind about the whole weakness thing; I don't care about winning. I don't think you've been paying attention but this is just a card game! Angela was suddenly reminded with what happened at the Ocean Floor Explorer, as she suddenly shivered for a second. Angela heard someone shouting about a duel. Hm, be right back kay? and yeah, none of that milkshake..... Just one more! Angela went running to where she heard the voice; Core, while grabbing her milkshake from the barman.
Angela got near Core after alot of running. Hey Core! I heard your duel all the way from the bar. Angela started panting for a little while, but then she drank a lot of her milkshake which got her energy back. I came here because, you're probably the first person I saw as bored and eager for a duel as I am. Angela Chuckled. Oh, and you wouldn't wanna yell, I tried to shout out for a duel too, but someone complained about it... So, wanna duel, again?

"Ha, so it is." Loki commented with a shrug, his bright green gaze dancing after after Angela as she ran off to do whatever it was she was planning to do. Finding this time to be free, he turned off and strolled up to the deck registry office. As the woman there took down his deck information, she spoke up towards him.

"You know, this is quite the deck you have here. I've heard that these cards are very card to come by," She commented as he worked.

"Hm? Oh, yes ma'am they are. To be honest, I never thought I'd get the deck finished, but here I am, dragons and all."

"Ha ha, yes you are. And now it would seem that you're all set. Good luck," She said as she finished and handed the deck back.

"Thank you," Loki nodded in thanks and replaced the deck back in his deck box. With that, he traveled back to the bar and reclaimed his original seat. He ordered a Dr. Pepper from the man working the counter, and received it in little time at all. "Thank you," He said as the drink was handed over. Taking a sip, he turned on his stool to scout out any current duels.

After drinking his root beer, Daniel heard a loud scream for a duel. He turned around to see who said it and saw a girl running to where the challenge was issued.
'Well I guess I could watch a duel for a change,' He said getting up from the bar and following the steps of where the girl ran.
He leaned on the wall and watched the duel commence.

'Hmmm that was quite the duel, Karakuri's Vs. E - Heroes. Maybe I should go introduce myself to to them both.' Daniel said as he walked towards the two.
"Hello my name is Daniel, I watched you guys' duel and I thought I would come over here and introduce myself."

Lupe deactivated his duel disk, after that went back and drank his root beer, then replies to Sentan, Uh yeah me too, well I don't think I can enter the tourney running around with this kind of deck, get what I mean? But sure I will join the tournament. Lupe then relaxed and started thinking what to do with his deck. Drinking his root beer.
